Again he took his time to explain everything, his workmanship was faultless, he cleaned up after himself, and put me at ease. As a customer I was thrilled - the company was trustworthy and highly competent. It comes across that they care about their work and the customer they are completing the work for. Agree the call-out fee, the hourly or fixed rate, and whether parts are charged on top — in writing — before an emergency plumber starts. Out-of-hours overcharging and 'while I'm here' add-ons are common complaints.
