Graeme visited the house to quote for the job of flooring the loft and having shelving, ladders and lights fitted. He was polite, punctual and knowledgeable, offering different options to suit my needs. Graeme and Chris arrived on time and worked hard all day to complete the job to a high standard. Additionally they fixed my squeaky hall landing floorboards and left the house clean and tidy. Thank you!

We have just had our loft boarded + some shelves for storage by GK Joinery "Why Move, When We Can Improve?" and I am so impressed. The quote process was clear and straightforward, and Graeme very quick to respond to any questions. Once accepted, the work was undertaken quickly. The team were all polite, they covered the stairs with a protective plastic and communication was great throughout. The job took only two days, they tidied as they went, not even leaving any sawdust outside! They have installed a floor, lighting, couple of electric sockets, shelves and a Ramsay ladder. It feels like we’ve gained a whole extra room. If you’re thinking of getting your loft boarded (or even if you hadn’t thought about it and are tempted now), I would 100% recommend them.

GK uplifts are my go to guys to get all my trade and household waste removed. Always happy to cater to any last minute pick ups that I may have. Always give the area a brush afterwards too. Allowing me to finish my job and get out of there, knowing all my waste will be removed and safely disposed of. Definitely recommend. I found them to be the most value for money as far as any others Iv used. Youv tried the rest now try the best !

Graeme has carried out a number of jobs for us over the years and we have always found him incredibly skilled at his work and a perfectionist leaving us very happy with everything he has done for us. I couldn’t recommend him enough. He is clear on costs and timings with no surprises along the way. He also leaves the place very tidy after which is a bonus.

Graeme and his apprentices were incredibly professional whilst flooring and shelving our loft and also fitting some internal wooden doors. Communication during quotation phase through to delivery was impeccable and the work itself was flawless. They tidied up including vacuuming each evening and arrived on time each morning. We have since asked him to floor the loft in our daughter’s home and again, the price, work and delivery were to the high standard we’d come to expect. Having the loft floored with the wide hatch and sturdy ladder has improved our storage availability and it’s easily accessed even by a portly 50+ with dodgy knees so that recommendation by Graeme was a godsend. GK Joinery is on the top of our own “go-to” list for home improvements and we would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team for any joinery projects.
