"We hired Jay to fix our uneven, squeaky stairs and floorboards. The stairs took a few goes over the time he was with us, but he didn’t stop until they were completely solid. He checked we were happy at every stage and always willing to tweak things to get them right. Jay also installed a new glass and oak bannister and handrail, which looks really smart, transforming our landing and stairs. He’s very neat, well organised, has great timekeeping, and is polite and trustworthy to have in the house. We’re so pleased with the work that we’ve asked Jay back for more jobs. "Jay made and put up three new long floating shelves for our dining room. He also replaced a couple of old 1930's doors, one in our dining room and one in our front room, with new doors of a similar 1930's style and did the fixtures/fittings too. He even sourced and provided the new doors for us. Jay is very courteous, helpful and professional, and his work is excellent and he takes a lot of care in his work too. He is also a very tidy worker. Jay has done several carpentry jobs for us now and we have always been pleased with the outcomes. We would highly recommend."
