I searched Checkatrade and contacted Nicholas. He emailed me back very promptly and dealt with the issue promptly too. He Liaised with my tenants direct and sent me an invoice (other companies wanted card details up front!). Very reasonable and reliable. Would definitely use Nicholas again and recommend to friends/family.

During the past few months Nick has dealt with : 1.. Replacement of an internal stopcock in our house. 2. Replacement of valve in cold water tank in loft 3.. Issue we had with regulating hot water to power shower in bathroom. 4. Tracing and repairing leak in cold water pipe under kitchen floor In all cases Nick has been prompt in his response, he has turned up when he said he would. he has carried out the working professionally and after completion of the work he has left our property in a clean and tidy.In all cases we felt we were charged a reasonable price for the work carried out.

Have used Nick for years and always reliable and knowledgeable. Had a hot water timer fitted.

I am very grateful for Nicholas to come out and remove my old gas cooker and seal off the gas. He was very helpful and even came round earlier than expected. It was very quickly sorted out and he made sure everything was safe. He was very polite and helpful. I will consider using his services again if I need them.

Gas Safety Certificate Renewal inspection . Nicholas was excellent! He was on time, polite and very honest and transparent. He carried out a full check on our boiler and was very thorough and didn't rush the job! I am very happy with his service and professionalism. Nick was a pleasure to have working for us, he was very polite and worked hard to get all work completed quicker than he originally quoted for meaning he was able to reduce the total cost which was very fair of him. Nick cleaned and tidied all rubbish as he worked. We are very happy with all work carried out and would definitely use his services again.

First rate service. Day 1, corroded and damaged parts found - had to be ordered in. Day 2, new parts installed and system fine-tuned for max efficiency. Possibility new boiler might be needed later on - because of new radiators soon to be added - but Nicholas did not try to hard-sell me a new boiler. Agreed to monitor existing system's running efficiency  when new rads installed. Boiler Service Record provided on completion. Reasonable prices, professional, punctual and friendly service. Kept in touch throughout. Also provided practical advice on energy efficiency/flow-rate to keep costs down!

Wow. What service. Within a hour of posting on Checkatrade, Nick Hall rang and arranged to visit after his next job. I went out and came back two hours later within that time he’d found the fault, replaced the outside tap and gone. We need more bits and pieces done and will be contacting Nick again. A delight to receive such prompt and exceptional service. My husband who is currently competing with Victor Meldrew had no complaints when he met with Nick. I can now get all those taps, shower and other stuff done that have been building up.

I can't rate this guy highly enough! Personable, punctual and an excellent plumber too! Diagnosed and fixed our boiler with no fuss and within the budget so no surprises for us! Highly recommended,

Quick to respond and very professional service

I'm really pleased with the service provided by Nic Hall. He contacted me soon after I'd been in touch via Checkatrade to discuss the problem, quoted for the job and then arranged to visit two days later to replace the broken part. Communication was good - I got a text reminder on the morning of the appointment and he rang me afterwards (it was my mum's boiler) to explain the work he'd done. He emailed me an invoice and I was able to pay by bank transfer. To sum up, a speedy and efficient service at a reasonable cost.

Undertook radiator pipe work alteration that had been wrongly installed by another contractor. Also replaced a basin waste. Very helpful and conscientious. Visited the job prior to undertaking to get an accurate understanding of the work required to get everything ready to complete in one day. Arrived when he said he would, worked clean and tidy, very efficient. Would recommend to friends and family and will be asking Nick to service the boiler when it’s due later this year.

I am very pleased with the completed job and the standard of work. The work was carried out as projected over six days. Nicholas engages with his customer listening to what they want then explores and explains options. I choose Nicholas over other quotations and contractors because they are too keen to do the job as fast as possible and move on to the next. Nicholas is methodical and conscientious and wants to get things right before he leaves the job.
