Kitchen rescue
The window wall of my kitchen needed rescuing after my amateur decorating and the removal of a blind, which had left unsightly holes. In one morning, Barry has made it look perfect. It is great to find someone who is professional, but is willing to do small jobs.

Skirting board remove and re-install after Fibre install
We called on Barry again to help us hide our new BT fibre installation. We wanted a proper installation without any new cable tacked to skirting boards and without using ugly plastic conduit. I found a rebated skirting board product and needed Barry to remove our existing skirting boards near our front door and ground floor hallway and to generate access through our bottom stair to an understairs cupboard, where our router was going to be situated. Barry then returned to cut and install the new skirting board after BT had completed internal works. He made good the walls and painted and filled the new skirting board so it integrated with the existing skirting board, wooden floor and stairway. Barry is always a pleasure to deal with. He is very communicative, he answers his phone and he is very easy to deal with. He listens to your concerns and comes up with solutions and ideas that you may not have thought of. His standard of work is very high and I would not hesitate to consult Barry on any DIY / maintenance jobs around the home. I recommend him very highly. Great job, thank you.

Fantastic high quality service
I can highly recommend Barry's services. I'm extremely happy with the small jobs I needed completing around the house (sealing and some fixture fitting). Excellent Service
Barry did three small jobs: altered out kitchen plinths, refitted a kitchen cupboard where the bracket fitting had snapped off and rehung our bathroom door so that the locked was properly aligned. He was totally professional. We agreed the works and cost prior to starting. He is friendly and diligent. I would definitely recommend him.

Great work, neat and quick

Professional, friendly and helpful
Barry came to do some work in the bathroom (remove old grout, re-grout, resealing bath and fitting a new shower screen). He did a great job and also came up with a creative solution for the bathroom shelving as well as a few other odd jobs. Very nice fella, easy to communicate with and I’d definitely recommend. Have already requested more jobs as he has a broad skill set.

Efficient, cheerful and a tidy worker
Barry fixed some shelves in a cupboard that had collapsed. The work was completed speedily yet carefully. He explained clearly what he was going to do. Barry has a very pleasant demeanour and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. I shall certainly be using him again and have recommended him to my neighbours.

Great work and good communication
Barry came to hang some pictures for me. He arranged a time within a few days of me contacting him, confirmed his arrival time on the morning, and did the job quickly, to a high standard and neatly. I’d mentioned I had to take a call around the time he was finishing and he made sure to checkin with me before then.

Quality work, professional service!
Barry repaired and redecorated the exterior of our house. Having obtained a few quotes, Barry's was reasonable and sensible and he was one of only two tradesmen that actually turned up to assess the work prior to quoting. His communications were prompt and exemplary, stating when he could not work due the terrible weather and when he expected to return. He was happy to answer questions about the repairs and materials. The exterior now looks fantastic! He was also happy to return once the scaffolding was removed to paint over the scaffold contact points. I was sufficiently confident for Barry to keep hold of the house keys until our return from holiday - and these were returned within 24 hours of asking! Could not be happier!

High quality, trustworthy, practical ideas
Barry has worked on repairs for my flat several times over 8 years. He will always find a great solution to an issue and carry it out efficiently, to a high quality. He is tidy and prompt. Previously he has regrouted, replaced seals, and rejigged tricky areas to prevent water damage around kitchen sink and bath - alongside other standard repairs like putting up shelves, fixing shower/curtain rails and window frame remedial work. Barry recently came to take down a built-in wardrobe and make good and paint the wall and suggested reusing the wardrobe on another wall. All worked out very well. Highly recommended for standard of work, useful solutions and trustworthiness.

Handyman
Barry is just great. I’ve used him for over ten years. He’s fixed fitted kitchen doors coming off their hinges, put up shelves, painted inside and out and fitted bathroom cabinets with lights. He can turn his hand to anything and is always helpful and polite and tidies up after himself. I can’t recommend him highly enough, but he does get busy so book him up with some notice.
