Detailed reviews
An initial survey was carried out to determine the heat pump size and emitters. The installation was kept basic with regard to room temperature control, standard valves on radiators, and no room thermostats. I have been achieving a SPF of 5.4 with internal room temperatures as designed from survey. I was impressed with Richard’s technical knowledge of the system. The neatness of the pipework around the internal unit is impressive.
We had a heat pump installed recently. Richard from Homestead Energy did the initial survey, design and installation. They were very professional throughout. Any questions were answered immediately and in a way that a layman could understand them too. The installation itself went very smoothly with great care paid to minimise disturbance. The aftercare is exemplary with great communication and a genuine interest to leave us with a good experience.
From the beginning Richard explained everything and gave me various options. I chose to go for a Viessmann, the best on the market, as a long term investment and it also meant less overall space taken up and changes inside the property. The heat pump was installed with little fuss and my house was treated with great care and respect. With Icy Hot being Heat Geeks I was confident in the design and quality of work and as of now my heat pump is heating the house perfectly and has a SCOP of 5.3!
