Best Residential Architecture Practice (North East England) awarded by Build, July 2020 Hoot is an architectural practice based in Durham. We are passionate about creating exceptional buildings and places, whatever the size or budget. The practice is led by Stu Kent who an architect with many years working in residential and commercial design both in the UK and abroad. The first stage of all projects is listening closely to our clients to understand their aspirations and requirements, only once this is done can we start drawing. All projects are designed using 3D computer modelling which allows us to thoroughly test concepts and refine the small details. The 3D models also assist clients to fully visualise and understand the designs as they develop. Our rigorous approach leads to designs that are both creative and affordable.
