Ian came round to freshen up our house recently, which involved repainting 5 room/areas. As always, Ian arrived on time, carried out the work in a timely and professional manner. Ian, always keeps you up to speed with what he is doing and is a very friendly, approachable individaul. Thank you for a top job, Ian.

Over the last few years we have engaged Ian to undertake the decorating of our house both externally and internally. We are happy to recommend Ian to others not only for his technical decorating skills but also for the professional manner that he always displays in working with his customers.

Turned up promptly at the agreed time every morning. Shifted furniture and laid protective sheets as required. The work was finished in two and a half days, as quoted. We will be using his services again.

Ian and Alan totally transformed our hallway, stairs and upper landing, stripping the walls, lining them and painting the walls and woodwork. They also painted our sitting room. The work was completed quickly and to schedule, with Ian clearly explaining costs when the estimate had to be amended. They took care to discuss each stage with us, were friendly and were very tidy, clearing up each day. They showed great attention to detail and took time to make sure we were very happy with everything before they finished.

Ian came to paint my bedroom, which I had previously painted myself but had varying success with. He came for an initial visit and told me the expected duration and cost of the work. My initial impressions were that he was confident and easy to talk to and he provided quick and honest feedback about the best course of action for the room. We had to reschedule the planned visit which Ian was understanding of. During ongoing communication we were easily able to arrange a visit for the following week. Ian did a great job painting my bedroom. The work was carried out to timeframe and quoted cost, the finish is flawless, it really elevates my room and is now more in line with the look I had for it in my mind. I would highly recommend Ian for painting and decorating and will not hesitate to call on him for future additions/projects.

A bedroom with a nasty long-standing crack in the ceiling was redecorated to a very high standard and the crack made almost invisible. The room looks nice and fresh and the work was carried out within the time-scale promised. Ian and Alan were great to work with.

Ian and his colleague Alan painted our hall, landing, WC and kitchen. They started promptly at 8 every morning and worked solidly. Very tidy painters. Ian lives nearby so I felt very confident with leaving him my house keys. Very reasonably priced

As previously, the work completed by Ian and his team was done beautifully. Ian communicated with my daughter as requested to set up the work, and couldn't have been more helpful. His charges are extremely reasonable, as well.

Mr. Hodgson replied promptly to my telephone enquiry, listened carefully to my requests, gave me a date for a personal visit and followed up on that with a confirmation of * a starting date * a quote for the work to be done * an estimated date for completion of the work He followed up on that with excellent work, a readiness to accommodate my wishes and great patience in helping me make decisions about detail of colours etc. He was very well organised, punctual, careful in his preparation and clearing up. I was impressed by the fact that he seemed really to enjoy the work he was doing. He would be my first choice for any further work which I required to have done and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

We have just had outside of house and some indoor paintwork carried out by Ian and Alan. Very polite, friendly, professional. All went well from start to finish. Highly recommend and will be using them again in the future.

We have used Ian's decorating service on many occasions, he is extremely helpful and completed the redecoration of our small sitting room as scheduled, at our agreed price and kept us updated at each stage of the work, we are very happy with the finished job.

The Hall, stairs and upstairs hall and landing were redecorated with wallpaper and white paint for the woodwork and ceilings. Quote given verbally and followed up by email with an approximate start date which was confirmed 3 weeks before starting. Arrived on time everyday and left the property clean and tidy at the end of each day. The work was completed in 7 working days, which was 3 less than the original quote. Very happy to recommend.

Ian was highly professional throughout. He quoted promptly & reasonably, his time estimates were accurate, and he finished the job ahead of schedule. He and his colleague, Alan, arrived promptly every morning, and their work (which involved a lot of making good due to a previous bad paint job) was of a very high quality. They were having to decorate around furniture & boxes, but couldn't have been more helpful in moving things and ensuring minimal disruption. Nothing was too much trouble. In short, Ian and his colleague were a pleasure to work with.

Am so very pleased with my newly painted room. Walls, cornice work and all woodwork..... Including window shutters, all beautifully painted. Work completed in time. Pleasant, tidy, quick painters.
