Highlights

"Ian attended the following day, when we had an issue with my 5 year olds bedroom light. He quickly fixed the issue and made no mess and cleaned up after himself. Very professional and would highly recommend."

"Ian is an absolutely outstanding electrician and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough. Over the years, he has helped us with projects of all sizes — from wiring our extension (including lighting, audio and smart lighting using Shelly), to designing and installing a fantastic lighting scheme for both our front and back garden, as well as connecting our kitchen island pendants.Nothing is ever too much trouble, and his friendly manner combined with consistently excellent workmanship makes him an absolute pleasure to work with. He’s truly a fantastic person to know and use for any project"

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
