John and his team have done a fantastic job on my driveway and backyard. Very nice pleasant man to deal with who keeps you informed every step of the way. Would definatly recommend him to anyone. Not let his cheap price put you off it is a 5? quality job
After being conned by a previous paver, this man came in like a knight in shining armour. It was a massive job, and John and his company did a brilliant job to complete it on time, within budget, and with no corner cutting. John kept us informed through all stages of the job, and we are chuffed with our new wall, lawn and 2 driveways.
John and his team carried out a 5 star job on my driveway, then it came to my understanding that the company also do's roofing, I had my roof doing with John also and I would not hesitate to recommend him.
Trader and his team completed to drive very quickly and on time. However 4 months later the driveway has developed dipped in a few places. We have tried to contact Trader to rectify the issues as he advised any problems call him. He is now no longer answering our calls and we have not heard anything after leaving messages multiple times. Would not recommend to anyone else

"Thank you for your feedback, we did offer to come back and carry out all the remedial work for you, however, you decline our offer. We always go back to customer that raised issues with us and would have been very happy to sort the three dipping issues and edge the side of the driveway for you. We did make alternative suggestions for your driveway when we initially met, however, the work was completed as you requested. Kind regards JJ Contractors (Roofing, Driveways & General Building)"
Very professional and polite. His approach and mannerism is outstanding. If I have any need for a tradesmen in the future I will contact him first..

Can't fault John and his team . Explained every part of job arrived everyday early and worked hard all day ..never even stopped for a brew 😁. Always cleaned up at end of each day and gave me a rundown of what had been done . More than happy with finished results .

Before you hire a builder
Never pay a large deposit up front — agree a staged payment schedule tied to completed milestones, and hold a small retention until snagging is done.
Get it in writing: an itemised quote with scope, materials, start and finish dates, and how any changes (variations) will be priced.
