I cannot recommend Jwoods Electrical Ltd highly enough. James came out on a Saturday & did a fantastic job fixing my daughter's boiler and underfloor heating. What really stood out was the communication - we were kept informed about what was happening every step of the way. James was patient, thorough and professional. We were also impressed by the aftercare. We received a follow up message just to check everything was working perfectly (which it was). This is something you rarely get these days. The level of service was outstanding, especially on a weekend. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

James carried out my EICR to a high standard and went above and beyond. He completed the inspection professionally and arranged for his team to fix ducting in the roof and repaint marks in the bathroom to a great finish. He also labelled key switches (like extractor fan isolators) to ensure everything runs correctly and reprogrammed a fan that hadn’t been set up properly. Thrilled with the service, efficient, thorough and genuinely professional.

We used JWoods a while ago and both workers came out - they did a variety of work around our house and we were happy with it. We then requested they fit an outdoor socket. Only one socket with one wire running to it was fit. They tried to charge us for 4 hours of labour for a simple 1-2 hour job. The worker came out early and sat in his van a little while before knocking on our door - we had to dispute this to not pay it. Additionally, the worker took many coffee breaks, totalling over an hour & was just working very slow. We now know why. Owner didn’t seem to care or want to resolve.

We recently had our outdated fuse board consumer unit replaced by JWoods Electrical Ltd and we couldn’t be happier with the service. The old unit was constantly blowing fuses, so it was time for an upgrade. From start to finish, the electrician was professional, knowledgeable, and very thorough. They provided excellent advice throughout the process, clearly explaining all the available options and making honest recommendations for other electrical work that might be needed due to the age of our house. Communication was prompt and clear, which made the whole experience stress-free.

Mark from J Woods electrical, carried out an excellent job of replacing my old fuse board with a new modern RDCB system. This was no mean thing in a lower ceilinged up-n- downy 15 Century listed building. The job was carried out very professionally, with great respect to the property.
