Highlights

"This is the fourth time I have called Simon out for jobs and as always he has responded quickly and with his usual friendliness and efficiency. I had a problem with a shower waste pipe that had come adrift from the main waste. It posed some problems because of the way the bathroom fitter had installed it, but as usual Simon found a way. He is one of the most honest tradesman I have ever dealt with, charges a fair price, and is a thoroughly nice guy. My first choice for plumbing jobs every time"

"Our boiler broke unexpectedly and, with two small children at home, it was really stressful. This company went above and beyond to squeeze us in at short notice and get everything sorted quickly. Friendly, reliable, and genuinely caring service — we’re so grateful and would highly recommend them!"

"Have used this plumber many times for various plumbing jobs and annual boiler services. This occasion was for a replacement stop tap in the kitchen, arrived on time, worked professionally, tidied as he went along and bill was cheaper than the quote. Highly recommend as always."

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Confirm they cover your area and can actually come out in your timeframe before anything else.
Read recent reviews for reliability and turning up on time — not only the quality of the work.
