Highlights

"Great electronical work! Liam was very detailed and clear on what work needed to be carried out. Everything is working great after he was finished. Very speedy too."

"Liam at Orchard Electrical rewired our garage and did an excellent job from start to finish. He was professional, reliable, and very knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly before carrying out the work. The job was completed to a high standard, left clean and tidy, and priced fairly. We’re extremely happy with the work and would definitely recommend Liam and Orchard Electrical to anyone looking for a trustworthy electrician."

"Having tried a number of companies for assistance for a fault with our heating, (completely electrical and not a welcome issue for most firms) this was the only company who were happy to come and offer to take a look. Dealt with very quickly, efficiently and were kind enough to fetch the required part on the same day, fit it and solve the problem. They came within 24hrs notice and we were back up and running with our system in time for Christmas Day, hugely appreciated. Very reasonable rates and a friendly company who gave great service. Highly recommended. Thank you :)"

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named platforms, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
