"Very friendly and professional. After a few bad experiences from other plumbers Leak Shield Plumbing and Drainage were a breathe of fresh air. Honestly couldn’t recommend enough. On the day they arrived promptly, they communicated throughout the day and carried out the work quickly and professionally. Perfect service. Since then we have had them back for a different job and received the same level of expert service, and I have recommended to various friends and family, who have all been equally impressed."

They installed a new toilet for us downstairs and fixed a leaking cistern upstairs; amongst other small issues we had. They also replaced our kitchen taps. The downstairs toilet removal and replacement proved much trickier than anticipated, but they managed to get the job done with no damage to the existing flooring, which was wonderful. They have also sorted a blocked drain, and used CCTV to check it was cleared. They are very reasonably priced. I would be very happy to recommend."

We always receive a very prompt response from Leak Shield Plumbing. They are professional and polite. We have used them more than once. Alex contacted me out of hours on a bank holiday weekend. His quick response and ability in understanding my operational business needs were excellent. Fantastic service, we had a blocked drain which wasn't allowing our bathroom to drain, as everything was coming up through the bath. We called leak shield and they came within the hour, knew exactly what to do and where the blockage was. Jetted the issue and showed us the problem was rectified with their CCTV. Great service and price, very friendly. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thanks again.

I called leakshield in an emergency. Alex was very calm. Explained what I could do in the interim, gave me reassurance how quickly he could attend. When he arrived, he diagnosed the problem quickly and offer me me a temporary Solution. The part he needed was ordered and he came back as soon as the part required was in stock. I thought his prices were more than reasonable for the level of service and I was made to feel like I was the most important customer in the world. When in a crisis you just want to feel it will all be okay. Alex definitely did that. Would highly recommend.
Imagine not available. He did a very excellent work on my Drainage System and explained some things to me. I am very impressed.

Get an itemised quote that separates plants and materials, any machinery or skip hire, and labour — a vague 'garden makeover' lump sum hides where the money goes and makes extra charges easy to add later.
Be wary of paying a large sum up front 'for materials' — agree staged payments against work you can see completed, especially for hard landscaping like patios, decking, paving or driveways.
Tree work and anything near a boundary can be regulated — protected trees and conservation areas often need permission, and removing a protected tree can be an offence. Confirm what is allowed, and that they carry public-liability insurance, before work starts.
