I approached Locktec in order to get me out of a position where I was very unhappy with my current security provider. I was impressed that I was recommended to stay with my current supplier to save money but they would be happy to help should I decide to go with Locktec. I decided to ask Locktec to do the work (on a BPT system) and they carried it out with courtesy , patience and efficiency given that the wiring was a bit of a mess and some of what used to work had stopped doing so. I’ve been a Locktec customer for 26 years (alarm) and 6 years (CCTV). Their service is consistently excellent: they upgraded our gate entry to a smooth mobile app, replace locks to meet security standards, and service equipment twice yearly. They’re reliably available for emergencies—answering by phone and usually onsite within an hour—even at night. Their charges are reasonable and often cheaper than local or online competitors. I highly recommend Locktec for professional, responsive, and good-value security services.

I have used Locktec Security for about 15/17 years for my home alarm system. They are always very helpful and professional and great to deal with. Debbie and her colleagues are efficient and very well organised. I recently had a new alarm system installed by Glen. He arrived early which is always appreciated and did a great job. I have been very lucky to find locktec security system,spoke to Debbie who is very knowledgeable, offer good value for money and service. They have just upgraded my home alarm and set me up with the latest app to operate the system. Debbie in sales and Glen during installation were expert and professional and above all friendly. I really enjoyed dealing with them at all stages. The alarm implementation itself was great and a minimum of fuss and appears to be working really well. I couldn't be more pleased.

Locktec changed all our batteries for us , phoned up Monday and Debbie in the office fixed a slot for the next day so quick ! Adam came and was quick and throughly explained the panel again to lock and unlock as I use my key fob! I had trouble with my app a couple of day later and Debbie got him to come and sort it for me the same day I phoned. So pleased with how quickly and efficient this company are. Highly recommend them to anyone wishing to have alarms, lights or cameras fitted and any other work they do.

We had burglar alarms and a motion sensor fitted into our home. The team were great and quick to solve all our problems. Would highly recommend :)

Julian and his entire team are professionals. This is what good looks like when it comes to service. I called Locktec has I had a old alarm system with issue. Got some really practical advice, no up selling, no pushy sales that I must buy now!! when it came to installation, they were great - onetime, cleaned up after themselves and actually spent time doing a security review and made sure I understood exactly how to get the best out of the new alarm. Overall I rate 10 out of 10. The aftercare service, when we had a query was very response too. So good I got them to install at my mums too!

I had CCTV fitted the Friday - much quicker than expected and it works perfectly, exactly as explained. Alarms on the Monday. Very friendly and helpful, they cleared up after themselves, and explained how everything worked. I thought I would need to move lots of things but no, they moved what they needed to and put it back afterwards. I can view the CCTV on an app on my 'phone - fab - as well as on my TV. I can also operate the alarm on my 'phone as well as by the keypad or with key fobs. I like having the different options, especially as I have a cat sitter who comes in when I'm away.

Fantastic company with excellent quality of service. We have had both our house alarm and CCTV installed with Locktec. Easy to get hold of on the phone and obtain advice (Debbie is very helpful, knowledgeable and generous with her time). Easy to book in visits and clear communication in the run up to appointments with estimated time of arrival. Their engineers are excellent - they turn up on time, are very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I contacted Locktec to fix our Alarm, but this turned out to an uneconomical repair. As they we so friendly and efficient we decided to have a new alarm system. They sent us a very detailed quote which we accepted, and their engineer Glen, came and fitted the Alarm and gave us clear and concise instructions on how to use it. We are very pleased with our Alarm and the service we've received from Locktec has been absolutely excellent - we would highly recommend them.

The engineer arrived promptly, and was very clean and tidy. He clearly explained how to use the new system, and went through all the paperwork he was leaving with me for it. I had chosen this company on recommendation by my neighbours, and am very happy with the work and backup support if needed.

Locktec Security are a local business and very professional from quote to install. We had an aged system that was decommissioned and the replacement was installed in less than a day. The alarm engineer was very knowledgeable and took time to explain how to best use the system once installed. 100% recommend using this company.
