Dan came round to us to review and quote for several jobs in the house - 3 smaller and 1 larger (replace consumer unit). Two of the issues he resolved straightaway, and was more than happy to do so. We found him a super chap to deal with, very knowledgeable and straight with us. We can recommend him, and will probably be arranging for the company to complete work once we have their quote. I had a problem with power sockets. I was offered a next day response and he came exactly when he promised. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. The fault was diagnosed quickly and promptly fixed. Excellent service all round.

After having a bad experience with another electrician, I contacted Matherson to come and fix my Mum's oven. They were so helpful, professional and understanding. Sorted the problem and came back when it turned out a child lock was on the oven. Reassuring, polite and completely brilliant, will definitely use again, thank you!

Ive used Matheson Electrical a number of times at our house, from re-fitting all our outside lights, sourcing and recomending a solution. To a quick problem with fuses at home that needed urgent attention. I highly recomend them for a quick friendly service.

From first contact I found the company (and subsequently all staff) to be professional, friendly, helpful and approachable. Very clear information conveyed, all communication clear, quick response and job done in very timely manner (in fact they we starting work by time another company finally got back to me with a quote!). I was desperate for help when all my storage heaters failed to heat up overnight when it was freezing outside. Dan took the trouble to offer advice even though it was unlikely that he would be able to do the work. On this occasion the supplier finally agreed to carry out the repair but I will definitely contact Matheson Electrical if/when I need any electrical work doing in the house. It’s very reassuring to know that some businesses still really do try to help and give the personal touch to solve a problem.

Cannot fault the Matheson team at all. Everyone I've met has been polite, professional and frankly unfazed by our busy house! They're excellent at what they do and leave the place spotless once theyve finished. 100% would recommend using Dan and the team.

Excellent, these guys turned up and did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. I met 4 members of the team and they were all great. Good to see young men learning their trade with experienced guys. The house is old and listed and they were sympathetic with the structure of the property. Thank you very much

They attended my house at very short notice to find and fix a fault that was making our electrical sockets inoperative. Dan and his colleague were professional, polite and very efficient. They found and fixed the fault after quite an involved fault finding process. My wife and I were very impressed and hope to have them back to complete other electric work in the house in due course. Very highly recommended.

I can’t praise them enough. We had our house rewired. When they came out to give us an estimate.They did explain they might have to chase the wires into the walls. . We told them that we were going away on holiday soon . They suggested that if they did it while we were on holiday it would save us a lot of money because they didn’t have to make sure every thing was working and safe each night when they finished work. We agreed. Whilst we were on holiday they sent us a video of the work they had done . There was no mess and they didn't have to chase the wires in. So happy with their work.

People were very professional, ran into a couple of problems regarding how the cabling would go - they sorted out the best route and managed to make it work. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was suitable and they made sure that you were happy with whatever they were doing before they made any changes that would be visible. Work was completed to a very high standard would highly recommend.
