"Matt fitted our kitchen on the 5/01/26 It was a large kitchen Matt was very professional and extremely detailed in his work The work was completed on time and with no setbacks Matt was very pleasant to speak to and was always available to answer any questions I had Such a polite young man Matt also works closely with other trades and was able to sort out other aspects of the kitchen fitting Matt put me forward to electrician a plumber and an excellent plasterer will be using Matt for all my carpentry work in future 10/10 can’t recommend Matt highly enough"
"Matt was one of magnets recommended fitters, he came out to view the property prior to installation to offer us a free quote. Matt has great attention to detail, we are very pleased with our kitchen. He thrived on completing his task to a high standard. He communicated with us if he encountered any issues and how best to manage them; one of our units was broken, so he contacted magnet himself to get a replacement for us on the same day! Matt was very friendly, hardworking and helpful. We would definitely recommend him!"

Before you hire an architect
Only someone on the Architects Registration Board (ARB) register may legally call themselves an 'architect' in the UK — ask for their ARB number and check it free at arb.org.uk. An 'architectural designer' or 'technologist' is a different, unregistered role (often capable, but not the same protection).
Agree how they charge before any work starts — a percentage of the build cost, a fixed fee, or an hourly rate — and exactly which stages it covers (concept design, planning application, building-regulations drawings, work on site), so there are no surprises later.
Confirm what they will actually handle versus what is excluded — the planning application, the building-control drawings, and whether they will administer the builder's contract on site — and get it, and a portfolio of similar projects, in writing.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
