Martin from MLW plumbing and heating, came out quite promptly to give a quote. Once I accepted the quote, the job was booked in within two weeks. Martin and his colleague arrived at 8 a.m. to start the job. They encountered a couple of problems which they resolved promptly. They created a new opening for the flue and blocked up the original hole. They installed a Worcester Bosch 2000 combination boiler, having calculated that it would be sufficient for the flat. The work was carried out efficiently and they cleared away any mess that they generated. I would willingly recommend in this company.

Martin was very helpful with identifying a faulty noise on my boiler. Martin visited to do a boiler service and visited again to help solve the issue of the noise. He contacted the boiler manufacturer to help resolve the issue. Great service, I would highly recommend.

Martin and the team at MLW Plumbing and Heating replaced my elderly parents boiler. Great work, efficiently done, everything works perfectly. Martin and his team were clean and efficient, no fuss, on time, very polite and trustworthy. My mum was extremely happy with them. He answered all questions clearly. Told us we didn't need to do a lot of things a different company had said we needed to do (replace all radiators, change the pipework and a number of other things). He recommended that we start with replacing the boiler and if that didn't resolve the other problems, we should look at those issues separately. After the boiler was replaced, that did resolve the other problems. He was right, there was no need to do all that other work. I very much recommend Martin and MLW Plumbing and Heating. I would go to them again if we needed any other work done.

I urgently needed my bathroom basin tap (including waste) and bath shower mixer replaced at my property, due to gradual wear and tear. I found Martin extremely polite and courteous when making arrangements for the work to be carried out, and something that particularly stood out was how quickly they respond to enquiries (on the same day or within 24 hours). Dan, the plumber who carried out the work, completed it in less time than was originally anticipated/estimated and was exceptionally clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

Had Tony round to do a few jobs: a tap change, a new stopcock, and boiler servicing. He visited early to quickly assess the jobs and then came by the end of the week to do it all. He is very friendly and carried out the work quickly, including a particularly difficult kitchen tap installation. He ensured all the areas were left tidy at the end. I'd definitely use it again for future plumbing jobs.

Martin, Tony, Callum and Dan were professional, considerate, reliable and diligent in undertaking the complete installation of our new central heating and hot and cold water services. This included the flushing, testing and reuse of some existing cast iron radiators. All of this work was undertaken while we and our cats and dogs were living in the property. At all times they considered our needs and kept us updated on progress and were always proactive in addressing some of the unique building challenges encountered. They were always on time and ensured that everything was safe and tidy before leaving at the end of each day. We are thrilled with the final system and with the high quality of workmanship.

This project required diagnosis and fault finding on a Megaflow system installed only 10 years ago, which had never really worked properly. The main objective was to increase the flow rate of water around the house, but particularly to the showers and baths. The pipework was powerflushed, filters cleaned, some taps replaced, a new Megaflow tank and accumulator installed, taps moved, which involved difficult re-routing of pipework and tiling. Basically everything and all options were explored. The work was carried out professionally, quickly, and the whole programme of works was completed on-time and within a reasonable budget. The team was trustworthy, polite and a pleasure to work with at all times.

My central heating would not turn off even when the programmer and thermostat were off. I phoned Martin who immediately diagnosed the fault and sent Dan to replace the motorised valve. Dan replaced the valve and tested the system and within a couple of hours, the issue was solved. Dan worked very efficiently and explained the issue to me. I was very impressed with the service.

Efficient quality work with competitive pricing. Martin arranged the works and were carried out same week. On site engineer was clean, tidy and friendly.

I'm delighted to have found MLW Plumbing to install my new boiler, and thoroughly recommend their honesty and professionalism. The four members of staff I came into contact with were all very polite and helpful. From first contact with Tony I was impressed with what is obviously the companies ethos of customer service. He listened to my request and commented appropriately, he agreed a quick visit from Martin, who turned up on the time and day agreed. After viewing the installation Martin discussed my options and pointed out a couple of issues that might incur a small extra charge, if found to be necessary during installation (they weren't). Ryan and Dan turned up a few days later at 8:00 am and worked solidly until they completed the installation. They came across a problem with the existing wiring, which is approaching 30 years of age, but managed to get the boiler fired-up and running, before leaving for the night. Martin returned next day and replaced the old wiring and control box, so I now have an up-to-date and easily understood installation. Full marks.

Martin and his team helped us out after issues with our builder. Martin and his team was quick, professional and gave suggestions on improving the plumbing along the way. Underfloor heating and pipework has been neat, tidy and working efficiently. Their work has reduced our stress levels during an extremely stressful time with the other building issues. I won't need to look for any other plumber from now on. Special thanks to Martin and Ryan for making multiple trips with no hassle and good quality work.
