Highlights

"Very swiftly replied and came only 2 days later - given how long it takes trades to do anything nowadays, never mind just reply, a breath of fresh air. MVA came sooner than expected both from the booking and on the day, which was great, with the job carried out better than we had hoped, including the basic wall repairs I asked for. Landry was helpful, friendly, kept everything clean and was very knowledgeable. Very happy with the company and work carried out."

"Excellent service from MVA Electrical. From the moment the work was booked they were very communicative and kept us updated throughout. On the morning of the job they confirmed their arrival time, arrived as expected, and completed the work to a very high professional standard. They were also happy to provide helpful advice and answer any questions. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again."

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
