We used Olympic Construction as a relative engaged them some years ago and recommended them to us. Unfortunately, some unexpected major work was required to their house but Adrian's re-assurance, attention to detail and overall quality service meant that the trauma of their experience was lessened a great deal and the work they did there has a great finish and is the envy of the neighbours (who I believe also engaged Olympic Construction for similar worl to their house). Our tenant commented that the builders kept the site clean and tidy and were considerate. We have seen the work and it is very neat and looks good. We have since engaged Olympic Construction to do some further work (installation of an extractor vent). We are assured that Olympic only use the best products which obviously comes at a cost. Again, their report and conclusions made sense and we were given full photos and specifications of the products to be used which helped us to make an informed decision about going ahead with the work. We cannot compare Olympic Construction to others in terms of price but my impression is the price is possibly on the higher side. That said, the value for money is excellent as we have total peace of mind that quality materials are used and the re-assurance that Adrian is a man who knows his trade inside out and is someone that can be relied upon to give sound, common-sense advice. He is tough on damp and tough on the causes of damp.

The report belies the vast and up-to-date knowledge which Adrian has about damp problems and the range of solutions. That said, the report was very clear as to the recommendations and the cost of implementing them. What really made Olympic Construction stand out for us is that we were told that they would not be able to fit the job for another 6-8 weeks. We appreciated this honesty and engaged them to carry out the works. Sure enough, in mid-July we had a call saying they could start the work the following Wednesday. They did and it was completed on the Thursday with the minimum of fuss.

We have contracted with Olympic Construction on two jobs at our rental property. One has been completed to our complete satisfaction and the other is actually being carried out today. The service which Adrian Dawson provides is excellent. He was in contact by telephone with me within no more than a couple of hours (if not an hour) to discuss a damp and mould problem that our tenant was experiencing at the property. We paid £60 plus VAT up front for a report on the problem. Adrian visited the property and called us to give a verbal report straight away afterwards and we we had a comprehensive, easy to read written report a few days later. The report included sensible recommendations with sound reasoning behind them.

Adrian is someone that knows a wealth of knowledge and experience in the damp and timber industry and you can be confident, that once he's assessed the problem, he will come out with the correct solution and he will do outstanding job to meet anyone's satisfaction.

Adrian’s technical expertise impressed me, our insurance consultant, the insurance loss adjuster and the insurance chartered surveyor; and the quality of his work matched it.

The whole operation is extremely efficient. They were very punctual and early, arrived at 8am. With the next stage, they arrived at 7.30am. The work is of a superb quality and I would definitely use them again and be happy to recommend.
