This was just the usual annual boiler maintenance which Geoff completed in his usual, efficient way. We have been using him for many years now and he always does an excellent job.

I needed a new boiler in an old house that I had just bought. Geoff of Palmer Maintenance Services was highly recommended by a friend and he did not disappoint. Because I wanted to create an understairs cloakroom the boiler needed to be moved slightly. After consulting with Geoff first to work out its new location I had the work done to create a new wall for him to locate the boiler on. The work was carried out to a high standard and for a competitive cost. The finished result was a much more efficient heating system that also looked much neater than before! Had Geoff out to complete a yearly boiler service. Arrived on time as always! Whilst doing the service he found a small leak on one of the pipes which he quickly sorted out without any fuss or mess. Great service again, thoroughly recommend him and won’t go to any one else.

I have used Geoff at Palmer for several years to do the annual maintenance on the boiler, with good results, so I had no doubts asking him to do the above repairs/additions. He promptly prepared a quote, which seemed very reasonable and, upon my acceptance, immediately organised a convenient date to do the work. He arrived at the time agreed and tidily completed the work in the timespan that he had agreed and at the agreed price. Once he had completed he removed the old radiators and packaging and other rubbish and cleaned up the rooms afterwards.

Overall! An excellent experience. Geoff arrived as agreed at 8.30am on the dot. He told me he expected the job would take between 5-6 hours. In other words a day’s work. He was finished by 2pm. His quote covered parts, new boiler and his labour. It was competitive. He left the work area spotless. Everything was tested (all taps and heaters) before signing off. Everything is working without a problem. Geoff is a nice person to have in my home. He’s a friendly and communicative person. This is the fourth job he’s done for us and I wouldn’t hesitate to call him back. Highly recommended.

Geoff fixed my faulty Baxi Duo-Tec combi boiler. He replaced and installed the hot water flow switch on a diverter valve that had caused intermittent hot water in our bathroom and shower for months. I’d had other engineers examine the problem and none of them correctly identified the problem Geoff figured it out via email and phone calls with me. I should have called him first. He’s a top bloke, a great engineer and he cares about the quality of his work. Highly recommended.
