"Paul & Scott were phenomenal from the start. Paul came through and provided a very good quote for most of the work (we later asked if they can do the entire flat). They have kept in touch with us the entire time, always letting us know what they are planning to do and when. Communication was absolutely stellar. They told me they were messy but honestly, they were so clean and tidy with us. Plastering is a messy job but both of them always cleaned up. They were fab with our cats, with our ever changing needs and are genuinely the nicest guys we've ever had a pleasure to meet. Highly recommend!"

He then got to work, completed the job in no time and has left an amazing finish and left the area spotless. Gave me advice moving forward. Best and cleanest plasterer I have ever used and he will be the only plaster I will use going forward."

Before you hire a plumber
Agree the call-out fee, the hourly or fixed rate, and whether parts are charged on top — in writing — before an emergency plumber starts. Out-of-hours overcharging and 'while I'm here' add-ons are common complaints.
Be wary of a plumber who, on a first visit, says your whole system or boiler must be replaced — get a second opinion and an itemised quote (parts and labour separately) before agreeing to major work.
Gas and boiler work is a separate, regulated trade — not general plumbing. Make sure anyone working on a gas appliance is specifically registered to do gas work, and ask to see that registration before they start.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
