Plumber Dan

I've used Daniel before. This time he supplied and fitted a new basin tap. All done in the space of an hour. He's extremely knowledgeable on property, punctual, and has a great command of English. He is honest, a treasured asset to my professional contacts.

Dan was recommended highly by two neighbours and they were right! Our builders found a leaking pipe above a ceiling - Dan came straight away to identify the cause of the problem and fix it, going out if his way to do this in the best way possible without any shortcuts. He immediately inspired confidence that he knew what he was doing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Dan was brilliant talk me through every step of the job also giving energy saving advice. Very clean and tidy resulting in and very good job I would recommend Dan to anyone needing a plumber/ heating specialist .

Daniel came to my house to sort out a leaky radiator. But in the end he offered so much more. The first thing he did was to explain patiently and clearly all about my heating system and how best to set it up. He gave me some really useful tips to deal with certain problems that often crop up. I had never understood about boilers, my hive and how to set up my radiators. It is the first time I have ever felt confident of dealing with a heating system. He then sorted out my leak. He was quick, efficient and tidy. Plus he was very good value price wise. Whatever he said or did filled me with confidence that he knew every aspect of his work. He was a pleasure to have in my home. He would be my first port of call for any plumbing work or question.

There was a leak from our shower which was causing serious damp patches in the ceiling and walls below. Daniel removed the tiles, exposed the pipework to the shower and found a leaking connection to the existing shower valve. He replaced the pipework, fitted a new shower valve and retiled the wall of the shower enclosure. He also replaced a toilet flush mechanism which had been leaking. He was professional, polite and helpful at all times. Before carrying out the work, he advised on the best way to tackle the work, potential problems and type of shower valve to buy. He always responded to any queries very quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone else.

Very happy with the quality and finish of the bespoke new unit (he even managed to fit my old tiled shelf on top) Daniel provided options and recommendations before and during the build. Some minor additional spending on replacing a pipe connector and buying another board, but for the amount of work completed his bill was very reasonable, especially considering he’d worked late to finish it

Daniel is hard working and was requested to complete renovations of one bathroom and one shower room within 2-3 weeks. He delivered that. On top of that he pointed out several cost saving measures and a few good practical advice for bathroom designs. However the finished qualities of sealing and some renovations were rough. Maybe because of rushed jobs. There were leaks in the shower room post renovation and the leak did leave some damages on the wall. He did come back twice to try addressing the snagging and leak issues. Some were caused by the reuse of old shower screen ( not his fault) but others traced to the insufficient sealing of new panels and flooring.

Prior to quoting for the work I wanted i.e. replacement of 7 very old radiators Daniel very clearly an patiently explained how things would work and offered various suggestions. I was very impressed because he so obviously knew exactly what he was talking about and was very happy to explain things so I could understand. His quotation was very reasonable. Daniel experienced some problems during the fix due to crumbling walls ( 1930’s house) but he persevered and whilst he had to revise the quotation because of the extra work the overall cost was still very good. Daniel was always hard working & very polite. He worked late in order to leave the job each day in an acceptable state. I am hoping to get him back again in to do some work in our bathroom. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Daniel to anyone who needs a plumber.

Dan replaced a shower tap, fixed a shower and a shower rail and replaced mouldy silicon in our bathroom. He came on time, did exactly what he was asked to do and left the place clean. His quote was reasonable and there were no unexpected issues. He gave us some advice on what to do if we would like to carry out more extensive work in the bathroom, which was really appreciated. He was polite, did not waste time on the phone talking to his mates and did not smoke, not even outside our house.

Dan was tasked with a few jobs, attached by magnetic filter to the boiler, replacing radiator valves and installing a new dishwasher. He was friendly and considerate as we have young children and pets in the home, communicated clearly at each stage as the magnetic filter and dishwasher wasn’t straightforward with lack of space needed extra plumbing work. He kept the job within the estimated cost and time. Overall would recommend and will use again.

I was looking for a trusted Plumber and found Dan through Which Trusted Traders. I needed a plumbing issue fixed in our shower which Dan very clearly explained what was required and the time it would take. Dan also installed a new shower in our main bathroom. With both jobs, Dan suggested a couple of options before carrying out the work.

This is the 3rd time I used Daniel but it was for a complete bathroom refit and also upgrading the flats plumbing and pipework. Daniel is very knowledgable and always gets to the root of problems and then fixes things properly. He is punctual, professional and I would highly recommend him as a trustworthy and very professional plumber and bathroom fitter.

Daniel fitted 3 new bathrooms in our property. The works included converting an old bedroom into two bathrooms & an old bathroom into a bedroom. Daniel was very helpful through out the project advising us on design & best materials/wares. The works took longer then anticipated as there were issues with the floor not being level, crumbling walls etc. But Daniel deal with all these issues, was very thorough & kept us informed throughout. Couldn’t be happier with the works & would definitely recommend

We have been struggling for a number of years with recurring issues from the water tank in our rental apartment. The feedback received from the letting agent appointed contractors was often nonsensical or even absurd, and issues just kept on returning. Recently the agent appointed contractors wanted to change the complete water tank due to a suspect heating element! While we have been fed up with the seemingly incompetent contractors appointed by the agent we did find it challenging to find a reliable plumber as we do not live close, luckily we stumbled across the which trusted traders page and noticed Dan was not far away and had great reviews. Lucky for us he had an opening that suited and managed to replaced both the heating elements (for the amount of trouble we decided to just have both replaced). He also managed to sort some other issues at the same time and provided some great pictures to show what has been done and that the heating elements were now both functioning. We can highly recommend Dan and will also keep his contact details for future issues.

Removed unusual sized Kitchen sink and and replaced with a standard sized sink and tap. Done to agreed initial pricing, on time & removed all waste materials.

The entire heating system, including the boiler, was replaced. Daniel is a very professional person. He explained all the possible options that could be done and we started working. The work was done with professionalism and accuracy. Thank you Daniel for the work you did. 100% recommend

Two new replacement showers fitted. Very pleased with the result. Dan came very promptly to review the work, quoted within a couple of days, and completed the work equally promptly. Can thoroughly recommend this excellent tradesman.
