Highlights

"I had several strobing lights and a socket that stopped working. I called up Quality Electrical and they came round the next day and fixed it all for a reasonable price. They turned up when they said they would, communicated with me throughout the work (let me know what needed doing and how much it would cost then letting me decide whether to go ahead with it), and the work seems very well done. I'm very happy with the experience and would certainly hire them again for electrical work."

"We had a number of odd jobs to do in the house, the largest being to remove an old burglar alarm and its associated panels. Simon took the time to inspect the work we wanted done before providing a quote and then completed it with the minimum of fuss. Quick to respond, reliable and tidy work - thank you."

"Simon and the team at Quality Electrical have a great energy about them (pardon the pun). Really nice chap and definitely knows his stuff. Installed the new shower after removing the old one, and also made sure I was happy with the work he had done. Will for sure lean on their expertise again in the future. Thanks chaps"

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
