We found this company by reading these reviews as we needed a new shower installed in our bathroom. Roger, the business owner, was very attentive; checking in with us regularly during the process from initial quote to completion. He also quickly assisted when we had a misunderstanding with the supplier and all was resolved satisfactorily without much input from us. Communication was very good. The work was completed to a high standard and we are pleased with the result. We met a few of the team during the course of the installation and all were polite and respectful of our home, leaving us in a clean and tidy state each day. I would definitely use the company again should the need arise.

Have used R S heating for the last 30 years they fitted out first central heating system and have since over the years have upgraded our heating. They have always serviced our gas boiler over the years and their service is always first class.

My central heating boiler and central heating pipework needed replacing. Three plumbers and three quotes later, all with differing opinions on what was needed, left me exasperated. Then I asked for a quote from R S Heating. Roger quickly assessed the situation, offered his advice and gave a detailed quote with explanations of the work required. His confidence, that the boiler replacement and the addition of extra pipework would be successfully completed, was music to my ears. Lee and Joe were exceptional. They are experienced, talented, adaptable and extremely hard working. They are a credit to the company. The whole team at R S Heating has an emphasis on communication and customer care. Joe and Lee from RS Heating came to fit our new boiler, everything went to plan and they did a really good high quality job. They left everything clean and tidy and completed on time. They answered any questions that I had and explained how the new boiler worked. I would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I needed to replace my central heating boiler, and decided to freshen up my kitchen at the same time (one of the rings on the old hob wasn’t working and the laminate on the worktop was lifting in a couple of places). I had the worktops and hob replaced, and the old ceramic tiles removed and replaced with a smart backboard to match the worktops. The team worked really hard, they were friendly and professional towards me, and it was lovely to witness how they all got on really well together and worked as a team to get the jobs done. From start to finish the company was efficient and attentive, keeping me up to date with delivery and working timescales. I couldn’t be happier with the end result, and thank everyone involved for making this a stress-free experience.

Very efficient reasonably priced company who replaced a radiator and two valves for me. Workers are polite and knowledgeable and did a great job. Would definitely use them again

We have a small en-suite bathroom with a large shower enclosure. However, the solid shower tray had developed a crack with leakage to the dining room wall below. Access to remove and replace the tray was going to be difficult because of the angulated entry door from the bedroom to the en-suite. The walls of the entire en-suite, were covered with marble tiles, and those in the shower area would need to be removed. Having contacted R S Heating, Roger Unwin came within 24 hours to inspect, discuss, measure and take photographs. After only a few days, he had produced a fully planned, practical, costed and detailed proposal including replacement shower and shower doors. The work started toward the end of September, took just over 2 days and was carried out by two excellent, highly experienced and skilled members of the team, namely Scott and Lee. Their first task was to protect the carpets in the hall, stairs and bedroom with self-adhesive plastic covering. The shower tray was then replaced together with the shower.The remaining shower tiles were removed and floor to ceiling shower panels installed in the shower area, together with a new and much improved shower door. The panels have proved to be an excellent match with the tiles in the rest of the en-suite.The job was completed with quiet efficiency, proficiency and with minimal mess or disruption. The en-suite is now transformed thanks to Scott,Lee and, of course Roger Unwin. I would unhesitatingly recommend this firm.

I have used RS Heating many times and have always provided excellent service. This job involved repairs to the garage roof. Their staff are all fine and diligent workmen who can be trusted to do a sound and first-class job. The work was completed to time and to budget.

Contacted Roger after our boiler failed, we'd already decided on a replacement boiler as the original was quite old. Very prompt response and had the new boiler in place within a few days, fitters were very professional and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

We have now used R S Heating and Building twice and we think they are an excellent company to deal with. On the first occasion we asked them to replace damaged ceilings and replace light fittings. On the second occasion it was electrical work only. They are incredibly prompt and reliable in all communications/admin and in our experience the professionals they work with are outstanding. The latter offer trustworthy, reliable advice and the completed work is of very high quality; in fact on both occasions they needed to rectify faulty or inferior workmanship carried out by other companies/individuals. Very pleased.

We had very prompt and courteous service from RS. Their engineer visited and diagnosed our fault without delay and they gave a competitive quote for a new boiler the same day. We were happy to go with a local company who clearly valued our business and gave excellent customer service. The fitters were equally professional and did a good job taking care in our property. I have been very pleased with the whole process of my bathroom refurbishment. Roger responded promptly to my initial enquiry and visited to discuss my requirements. I didn't have to wait too long for the work to start and am very pleased with the finished bathroom. The work involved removing a bath and a shower cubicle, then installing a walk in shower and some retiling. It is fabulous and I love it!

The work was carried out efficiently and well. The fitters were helpful and cleared up well. I have used this company for many years for work on the boiler and would recommend them.

I would have no hesitation RSHB following the completion of the work they have undertaken on our behalf. Our basement was in desperate need of an overhaul, with the ceiling having gradually collapsed over the years, meaning a new ceiling was required, walls plastering, replacement of cupboards, window, door, sink etc. RSHB's quote was reasonable and the proposals for what they would do and how they would approach all seemed sensible. They coordinated a number of trades, including plasterer, builder, joiner, and plumber. In addition to this we added new requirements as we went along - including electrical works. Each additional requirement was met positively and with very reasonable additional prices, which was really appreciated. All of the RSHB team were great (Thank you Scott, Max, Joe, Pete and Roger) and a pleasure to have in the house, keeping us informed throughout with what they were doing and seeking confirmation we were happy with what they were doing. I would have no hesitation in using them again and recommending them to others.

It was a pleasure again to have Lee and Scott come and complete the replacement of our toilet and basin in our bathroom. This is the third time they have been to complete three different jobs, and as always, they were prompt, efficient, and a good team.

Having previously sorted central heating problems for us, we contacted Roger when the boiler kept loosing pressure. A leaking heat exchanger was diagnosed and in view of its age it was decided to replace the boiler and flue. The work was scheduled to take 2 days but was being carried out during cold and wet weather. Joe and Lee worked tirelessly to ensure that we had heat available by the first evening, completing the installation the following day. They were friendly, helpful and very tidy. We were kept informed at every stage and would not hesitate to recommend the firm.
