I had some cracks in one area due to higher heat in that room and an area where paint and some weardown due to an old leak: Richard came over, checked everything gave advise on what to do and didn't even charge a penny for it. The issues I had are totally fixable and require some filling / painting. Not only that, he's genuinely just a really nice person. We need more Richard's in the World!"

An absolute gentlemen and the most honest person I've come across. I had some cracks in one area due to higher heat in that room and an area where paint and some weardown due to an old leak: Richard came over, checked everything gave advise on what to do and didn't even charge a penny for it. The issues I had are totally fixable and require some filling / painting. Not only that, he's genuinely just a really nice person. We need more Richard's in the World!

Agree the call-out fee, the hourly or fixed rate, and whether parts are charged on top — in writing — before an emergency plumber starts. Out-of-hours overcharging and 'while I'm here' add-ons are common complaints.
