"As it was my first time taking on the services of RWB Installations, I can say my overall impression/ experience of the company is very good. The request was to source fan and install. From the initial contact there was good communication in understanding what was needed. We discussed a couple of options and then secured a date for the works to be carried out. Richard's quote was reasonable. The overall response time in completing the installation was within a 3-day turnaround. I am happy that all went smoothly. Thank you, Richard for responding so quickly and efficiently."

3/2/2026 RWB Installations (Richard) responded to my ad almost immediately. The request was to source and replace a faulty extractor fan in the bathroom. We discussed the details of the job and RWB came across today and carried out the work. I'm satisfied with the result. Thank you Richard. Much appreciated.

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
