Our Stewart Turner (ST) shower pump, which was 20 years old, had begun to pack up and I was told by ST that spares were no longer available. I had never used Ryan's Plumbing and Heating before and I got their details from the ST website. Ryan came out the day after I contacted him and he quoted for a new pump. He did suggest that I could go from a vented to an unvented water system which would circumvent the need for a pump. I decided not to do this and Ryan respected my decision. Within a few days Leanne and her assistant came out with a new pump. They found that the isolation valves on the old pump had seized so they drained the system and fitted new lever valves. The pump was duly fitted and tested. At my request, they had sourced a new anti-vibration mat to go under the pump and, after installation, the new pump was much quieter than the old one. They cleaned up after the job and left our airing cupboard in a neat and tidy state. Having not used them before, I found Ryan extremely knowledgeable and helpful and his team did an excellent job to the quoted budget. Overall, an excellent job and I would certainly use them again.

In February 2025 Ryan replaced my oil combi boiler after the old boiler failed completely. The whole job was completed in one working day, efficiently and tidily. I would certainly use Ryan's Plumbing and Heating again for any heating or plumbing needs.

First time I’ve used Ryan’s Plumbing and Heating to undertake an annual service on my Worcester Bosch Combi Boiler. I had taken Ryan’s recommendation from the Which list of Trusted Traders after reading the reviews. I booked Ryan online, he arrived on time and was clean, efficient and knowledgeable. I felt he had done a good job at a reasonable price, I have asked to be added to Ryan’s servicing schedule for my annual boiler service going forward.

Ryan took on our job at very short notice, as we needed to remove an existing chimney that was the oil boiler flue. They came and isolated the boiler to allow the chimney removal by a builder, and then returned two days after the chimney was gone and installed a new balanced flue from the boiler to the roof of our bungalow. The work was completed in one day, and Ryan serviced and tested the boiler, and it is working fine. They cleaned up after their work, and the invoice was as quoted. I highly recommend Ryan's Plumbing and would certainly use them again if needed.

Fitted a new mains stopcock as the old one had seized up. The old stopcock was in an akward position and on old black pipe but this posed no problem at all. Very pleased with the work and I can now turn the water off if needed.

Fantastic service, as always. Ryan has completed work for us previously and is always very reliable and trustworthy. He recently replaced the boiler at our rental property. Ryan completed a boiler service for the first time, lots of communication about the arrival time and he carried out the job efficiently at a good price. He even noticed the flue was missing some sealant which he rectified for no charge.
