Steve is a craftsman who is not satisfied with anything less than the best job that can be done within the customer's budget, whatever that may be. True to his word, open and honest, he is a pleasure to work with. He takes obvious pride in his job, working carefully, respecting your home and always cleans up before leaving for the day. He overcomes potential problems methodically, offering solutions and advice before the start of the job. The customer always knows what's going on and why! We cannot thank Steve enough for the transformation of our bathroom. From the removal of the complete suite, floor to ceiling wall tiles and floor tiles to the construction of stud walls and cutting channels in brickwork to hide unsightly pipe work, he worked solidly every day to give us a modern, clean room that optimises the space available. A fantastic job, executed without fuss, just efficiency. We would recommend Steve to anyone who wants value for money and a brilliant end product.

Steve worked with us to decide on the design of the bathroom which wasn't easy due to the layout. Steve came up with solutions that meant we were able to achieve the changes that we wanted. I was able to leave him to get on with the work each day after a morning conversation and coffee!. He would figure out how to do things that we wanted whilst giving us great advice on design and layout. We are delighted with our new bathroom and would not hesitate to use him again.

We requested a quote from Steve for the full renovation of a main bathroom in Heanor. Steve came to visit us efficiently and was more than happy to travel the distance. We received the quote promptly and although not the cheapest Steve's attentative nature won him the project as well as his obvious level of expertise from previous reviews. The project got underway on time including full ripout, plastering, plumbing, carpentry, tiling, new suite, lighting and minor restoration. We were happy with the cleanliness and speed of works throughout the 2 week fit out. Steve's understanding of project renovation meant we could trust in his decisions without having to question him throughout the works. We are delighted with the end result. Steve and his team worked tirelessly yet thoroughly throughout and I would fully recommend them for any project. We will definitely be working alongside Steve again in the future. Steve did a fantastic job on our small bathroom. He was a pleasure to work with and really knew his stuff. It was a complete refit and he managed the whole project from start to finish for us. He turned up when he said he would and left the house tidy at the end of the day. We would definitely recommend Steve and will be using him again on future projects.

There are not enough stars on the planet for this man! He did a fantastic job of a total rip out and refit of my bathroom. He came up with excellent ideas, he worked around problems left from previous builders, he was polite, courteous and even carried on working after cutting his finger so badly it needed stitching! He was patient with my over friendly dog and kind and chatty to my family. My bathroom is amazing and I know without a doubt nobody could have done it better. We have an awkward shaped en suite with a steep roof and on his first visit, Steve gave honest opinions and informed feedback to our thoughts and then provided some excellent ideas and subsequently produced a plan and quote that resulted in a very modern, well equipped ensuite matching both our needs and expectations. As for the actual work, he was on time every day and ensured that the area was clean and accessable, the stripping out of the old bathroom was completed with the minimum of noise or mess and when there were the inevitable unexpected issues caused by the design of the house he was able to produce acceptable alternatives. Very professional, personable and reasonably priced will definitely use again for our main bathroom. Even our two huskys liked him

Steve was very professional from day 1 for coming to quote for the job until he had finished the work on our en-suite. He faced some interesting challenges left behind by the original builders but he solved them all and we are extremely pleased with the finished result. He is very dedicated to his work and the customer even turning up one with a knee the size of a watermelon! he carried on. Would very happily use Steve again for our kitchen and recommend him.

Steve fitted 2 bathrooms for us. His quality of work is excellent - his initial trade many years ago was joinery, and this shows in his work, everything is measured and fits perfectly. We had a couple of problems with our main bathroom as it is an old cottage, with concrete floors and old pipework. Steve was quick to respond to these problems and sorted things for us. Steve is honest, and a good timekeeper. If he says he will turn up - he does! We shall be asking him back to quote for our kitchen in the future.
