Highlights

"Excellent communication with Simon leading up to the rewire in January. He did a superb job, made sure to cover up new flooring that had been laid. All wires were chased into the wall, and the chases were all filled in, and sockets relocated to where I asked. worked efficiently to get the job done in good time and to a high standard. I would definitely recommend, in fact I have actually recommended to my friend who is also doing renovation."

Emma DCheckatrade5.0 rating

"Simon was polite and conscientious. He identified some work that needed to be done to gain the EICR and was fair and considerate about quoting for the follow up work."

AnonymousCheckatrade5.0 rating

"Simon was very professional and was easily contactable. After he had viewed the work needed he sent over a clear quote and work was booked in for two weeks later. He was on time and the work was carried out to a high standard. He updated some light switches and sockets, moved a socket, installed a new socket, replaced an old light fitting and moved two ceiling lights. Very happy with the work and would contact him again if any more work is needed in the house."

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
