Our Architect recommended Scott to us as an excellent and reliable builder - she wasn’t wrong. From the start of the project the whole process has been smooth and seamless. Scott and his team were professional and courteous throughout, excellent workmanship and nothing too much trouble. They are very good at following up on queries so the build has been surprisingly stress free. The extension looks amazing, the quality of the work is extremely good, I am very pleased with the end result and would not hesitate in recommending SAS Carpentry and Building.

Scott was the nominated contractor to complete my work which was subject to an insurance claim. He project managed all aspects calling in two trades to finish specialist work, plastering and flooring. He was always available and answered questions immediately. He proved to be reliable and only ever did what was agreed. All waste was cleared and cleaned on every visit. I would not hesitate to use him again.

The reason the job took so long was the fact it was an Insurance claim.

Great work by Scott and his team in doing the loft conversion. Scott helped me figure better use of available space than what the architect had drawn. The initial estimate for works was reasonable (compared to the other quotes I got) and the final cost was very similar. Scott provides a fair opinion on issues and tries to find the best solution to the problem at a reasonable cost. His work is high quality and the team is very reliable. We did not live in our house while the works were being done and the team took care of everything very professionally. Highly recommended!!

Scott and his team redecorated my bathroom after an insurance job had been carried out badly by another tradesman. Scott was really accommodating from the first call to organising a visit to check the work that needed doing to the execution of the work. My tenants needed the work carries our while they were away and Scott made sure that his guys could do the work when requested and they did. Scotts team turned up on time, did the work quicker than expected and the quality of the work was great. Scott guys were polite and tidied up after they left. I could not recommend them enough.

Sam and Steve are excellent tradesmen, polite, on time, excellent quality of work and nothing is to much trouble, would recommend 100%. 5 star contractor.

I contacted Scott to have a look at a couple of stairs that had sunk. Having investigated he advised me that the staircase was unsafe and that it needs to be reinforced as far up as possible. It was 7pm at night but he made sure the two stairs that had sunk were made safe temporarily to ensure they did not collapse - excellent work as the stairs are much better and he refused to take any money!!  I have contacted him to carry out the full repair. No hesitation in recommending this company.
