My central heating boiler had developed a serious fault . The man from SCAF explained the options very clearly and told me what each one would cost. I decided to go for a combi heater and he said that they could come in a couple of days to do the work. Everything went very smoothly. The old boiler and the water tank were taken away and the installation went well. We checked that all the radiators and the two towel rails were working properly and the new pipe on the outside wall was satisfactory. I was very grateful for their help and felt that the job had been done very well.

Sliviu was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable about the services he was providing. He worked quickly and charged me the price he quoted, I can’t recommend him enough.

This company saved the day a few years back ,the man was really polite and I needed a new boiler just before Xmas, it was installed within the week , I have used him ever since .very quick service and reliable.

Got a call from Silviu to advise he was round the corner and could have a look £95 + vat for callout and diagnostics. spent 20 minutes total between arriving and leaving to be told he would have to test different parts and would charge £95 + vat per half hour to do it. Told me he would send a report and hasn't and ignored all messages and emails since. Will be reporting him to trading standards.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS, especially if you are an old aged pensioner. They charged a vulnerable 92 year old nearly £2,000 to replace a boiler pump, valve and to supposedly flush out the system (with a vacuum cleaner!). The call out charge was £150.00. SCAF advertise a discount for pensioners, so I hate to imagine what they normally charge for a non urgent call out. To add insult to injury the boiler stopped working within two days and another plumber had to be called to rectify the same problem.

AVOID if you are a pensioner and live on your own. I contacted this person as I have used 2 other trades people from here are they were excellent so thought this one would be. They charged me near £4,000 to s&f a boiler. This included a WiFi thermostat that he charged £300 but found it can be brought for £50 online. I put in a complaint but as I paid in cash nothing could be done. This person even said I was not a customer yet I had written proof he installed the boiler. This person cannot be trusted.

Energy pipe burst was fixed very quick and efficiently and came out very quickly too also friendly.

Fantastic service so helpful and professional. Cleaned up everything and reassured me when the job was completed. Extremely speedy response from start to finish!! And a great price!!
