Steve was contracted by the building team who carried out our recent kitchen and bathroom renovation; work included complete re-wiring of kitchen, light fitting installation, power sockets, dimmer switches etc. We were very impressed with Steve's work - he was reliable, efficient and very approachable. As we were so impressed by his work we have hired him to complete a few other jobs separate to the building work (e.g. re-wiring, light fittings, sockets etc). We would not hesitate in recommending Steve to others.

Steve has recently replaced 64 downlighters in my house. The process from getting a quote through to completing the work was fast and efficient and Steve is a font of knowledge that can provide advice on any electrical question. This is the fourth job he has done for me on this house and I already have some more lined up for him so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services.

Steve has done several small jobs for us over the years. He supplied power,sockets and lights to our summer house. Replaced new outside lights to patio area and most recently replaced the motor to our extractor fan in the kitchen. He always attends quickly when asked and is always very polite and happy! Nothing is ever too much trouble and he is reasonably priced. We would highly recommend him for any electrical work

Steve installed a Ring Camera on the front of my house. He did a very professional job & managed to conceal the cables which the other Electricians were not prepared to do as it was extra work. Very impressed with the whole job from first contact to completion. Would recommend him to other people & use him again.

An external socket was not working. I phoned Mr Kelly and he arranged to call by on his way home! Mr Kelly found a loose wire - and repaired the socket straight away. He worked in a tidy manner.

We had a complex problem when our light circuit suddenly failed, and the problem's source was unclear. Steve Kelly came to the rescue, pinpointed the problem, and then set out to repair it. We were impressed by how quickly and tidily he completed the repair at a very reasonable price. Steve stands out for his professionalism and quality. Had two new light fittings that needed to be fitted. It appears that some electricians can't be bothered with such jobs. Stephen came when he said he would, did what he said he would do (and a bit more) and charged what he said he would charge - which seemed extremely good value to me. Very pleased with the job done. A friendly, open and chatty man.

I found ‘Steve’ to be a friendly individual and a professionally astute electrician when he called to fix my shower. The manufacturer of the shower dispatched one of their agents who declared it as, “beyond repair” and suggested a replacement unit, despite it being less than two years old. I found Steve’s telephone number from the Which? website and rang him for help. Steve called the next afternoon, explained the problems to me and then repaired them all for less than the call-out charge I paid to the manufacturer of the shower. I’m so pleased. I have my shower back and Steve’s cost were very reasonable. I’m not surprised that he’s such a busy man.

Steve was a pleasure to deal with from the time he first visited to assess the work, all the way through to completion. The job comprised replacing an old fuse board with a new consumer unit and running a new power supply cable through several rooms from the consumer unit to the kitchen, to enable a new electrical cooker to be installed by Steve. Despite the difficult cable route, the house was left clean and tidy with no sign of disruption. I was delighted with the outcome! Steve is friendly, reliable and professional and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Steve has done a few pieces of work for us as we overhaul an older house, adding some new sockets and replacing damaged light fittings. He has always been friendly, punctual, and efficient, clearly explaining the work and costs involved. We wouldn’t hesitate to get him in in future or recommend to a friend.

Have used Steve a few times. Very happy with the jobs: installing bathroom fan, wiring a garden cabin. Very Good communication. Clean and tidy work and everything works perfectly well afterwards. Price is also very reasonable.

This is the first time we have used Steve after finding him on here. After a socket blew out, we were unable to use our house lights. After explaining the issue, Steve not only got back to me over the weekend but came over straight away on Monday morning. Steve sorted the job really quickly and efficiently and was also happy to look at other issues in the house e.g. removing a socket and a concerning stray wire. I was looking for some electrical work following having an under-stairs wine cellar fitted, which requires making an existing double socket safe, fitting a new socket, removing an existing light fitting and disconnecting my alarm system, then reconnecting it after the furniture was installed. Steve Kelly’s work was of a high quality, he was punctual and very polite with all members of the family. An absolute pleasure to have worked for me. I would thoroughly recommend him.

We have just moved into a new property and had some dangerous and exposed wiring in a water cylinder cupboard which Steve made safe and moved some sockets and switches to support our removal of the cupboard. We also had some outdoor lighting which he fixed promptly and even identified issues with our fuse box which we weren't aware of.

Steve came to fit some outside lights for our garage today and did a great job. Steve has also done a number of other electrical jobs for me including fitting an electric wall heater and fire. Excellent communication, no jargon, reasonable prices, good quality work and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Steve initially came out to cost the job and provided estimates and time required to do the job. He is friendly and explained things carefully and options and/or potential issues arising. Steve was also very prompt with communicating with me via email and texts to schedule the work in. When Steve came to do the work, he was very meticulous in his approach and did an excellent job, not rushing and then tested everything before he tided up. The final bill was as quoted with no unexpected additional costs.

We had a full rewire, and Steve was professional, reliable, with great communication from start to finish. His price was very reasonable with no hidden extras, and nothing was too much trouble for him. I also felt very safe and comfortable with Steve doing the work, especially as I am in a same sex relationship, he was very respectful of this. I couldn't recommend Steve highly enough!

Steve came to fix my door entry system which somehow a previous electrician had linked to the same transformer as my oven hood light. Steve quickly investigated and diagnosed the problem. It was quickly sorted and my door entry system is now up and running again. He is friendly and skilled at his job and charges very fairly and reasonably. I can highly recommend Steve.
