Steve and his lads did a great job modernising our electrics from what was probably a 1960s setup to a safe and modern setup. More work to be done and will definitely be getting him back around to do the work.

I lost contact with a friend named Steve almost 30 years ago, and he was an electrician as well. Searching for an electrician called Steve in the Hastings area, I came across the details of SJF Electrical (the owner being Steve). I called him and said, «Hi, Steve». But it was not my long-lost friend. However, because he was also called Steve, I asked him to do some work for me. Now he is my new friend, Steve. He is an excellent worker, very friendly, punctual and very reliable. I will highly recommend him to anybody. Most of all, I found a new friend and an excellent electrician. Geny

Great communication from Steve throughout, with a quick & friendly response to visit, quote & set a date for the job! Nothing too much trouble. Steve at SJF was marvellous. He came out on a Saturday at very short notice. He was charming, courteous, considerate and he sorted the problem. I would have absolutely no reservation in recommending Steve.

Had an issue with an existing cat5 cable to external building dropping connection. Steve checked some quick and easy to access areas but the issue did not resolve. Previously installed cable (regular internal cable used outside) was most likely damaged somewhere underground. Steve's team returned at agreed time and replaced entire cable with cat6 armoured cable. Fitted neatly and securely, much better than old cable and connected up properly. All areas left tidy and as they found them. Pleasure to deal with. Fully recommended.

They contacted me very quickly after my Checkatrade request and arranged to review the jobs the next day. I was happy with his quote so went ahead with the work immediately. All the jobs were completed to a high standard and really quickly. We are really pleased with all of the work
