Specialist Damp Solutions Ltd., was recommended by my managing agent although I did not deal with them on a day to day basis I was impressed with the way they dealt with the work, and they seemed to be very efficient and the work was clean and tidy. They were there when I called by to see the progress and seemed to be very very efficient.

Specialist Damp Solutions did a tremendous job on the property pictured above. It was an arduous task, but kept us as the managing agent informed throughout the whole process. Specialist Damp Solutions stuck to deadlines throughout the remedial works and should be proud of their accomplishment.

Specialist Damp Solutions removed areas of render that were damaged and crumbling, repaired and treated them with a protective coat and then painted the entire front and gable end of the house. They also cut out rotten window sills and replaced them with new sills and painted them to perfectly match the surrounding uprights and windows. They re-pointed brickwork at the other gable end of the house and also treated woodworm found in the sitting/dining room and two bedrooms of the house with a chemical spray. I am delighted that house is now a gleaming white and the decaying sills are pristine again as well as all being protected from the elements in the future. Specialist Damp Solutions worked hard in what was not always the best weather, were skilled at the worried they carried out and were also helpful and accommodating, including to others who were carrying out work on the house and I would highly recommend them.

SDS undertook remedial damp works for our residents association. This involved removing a radiator, removing damaged plaster, flooring and skirting and installing new plaster, flooring and skirting, re-decorating and re-routing external guttering. The work was quoted for promptly and completed as scheduled and the owner of the property was very happy with their work.

Ian and staff were very professional and knowledgeable about the problems we had in our flat and the advice on ways to remedy and improve it to avoid condensation and damp was refreshing. They removed part of the brick work on our chimney breast and redid it with a really smooth finish. They also rectified a problem around two large windows, a bedroom and lounge inside and externally and re-sealed, repaired and tidied-up the unsightly window sill. At last it’s all looking lovely.
