We recently had timber casement windows fitted at our period property and we are delighted with the results. Simon, Richard and the team give you great confidence in the quality of the product and the finish. They started on the agreed date and finished on the agreed date. The installer (Nad) did a great job and checked in with us regularly to make sure we were happy with all aspects of the work. Highly recommended.

Due to workload, we had to wait a little while for our new bay windows and I cannot tell you how happy we are with the finished product. From the early stages - measurement, drawings and design, through to the installation and finish - we've been very impressed with the company, their team and the information given. Everything, every stage went according to the schedule agreed and laid out. We were particularly impressed with the fitter Nad. He's clearly a highly skilled fitter with a meticulous approach to his work. He was professional, punctual, with tremendous attention to detail as well as being courteous and pleasant at all times. At the end of each day, everything was left clean and tidy. The company was highly recommended to us by a friend so we were able to see at first hand the work the company had done for them. We too would not hesitate in recommending SPS Timber Windows Ltd in future.

We first used SPS windows about ten years ago, when we needed extensive repairs to our bay windows. We have been delighted with the windows installed then, which are as good as new, still. The back of the house had drafty sash windows and an annex with low quality softwood windows and doors. We had several windows and a glass door replaced, and a French window installed. The quality of the work is exceptional. Nad (Nadeem) and Andrej, the installers were good company and extremely helpful. My daughter (now an architect, who grew up here) looked at the first window installed and said, Oh! It looks the same. Just better! Which is a fair description. At a glance it looks like the original window; but it is well draft-proofed, secure, and double-glazed. The difference it makes is enormous. (The first thing we noticed was how much quieter the room is; it's been warm recently, but I expect it to make a big difference to the heating bills) I strongly recommend this company.

Overall Simon and the team did an amazing job from the initial advice on what I could change through to the actual fitting. At all times despite working through COVID the team kept me updated on a regular basis and worked very hard at every stage of design and installation. Simon also did an amazing job in helping me to change my front door and ensuring that a beautiful new panel was made to go above the door that exactly matched the original design in the stained glass panels in the door. I would definitely recommend them for the replacement of both new sash windows and front doors

I have absolutely nothing to fault and simply everything to praise - it has been a complete pleasure to deal with this company. Simon, Liz and the whole team go above and beyond - we have beautifully installed, bespoke double-glazed period sash windows to complement our maisonette, built circa 1910. We also enjoy the blackout blinds in the bedroom and have shutters and blinds. Excellent Customer service, transparency in relation to timeframes and cost, top quality products, clear CAD drawings, sound advice and efficient communication, insurance-backed guarantee ( Fensa ), follow-up completion survey....... the list goes on. Simon heads the team of dedicated and reliable, mostly long-term serving fitters and goes out of his way to ensure customer satisfaction at all times. We are truly grateful for everything - without a shadow of doubt and with no hesitation we would highly recommend SPS. We hope to use the company again to fit a new front door and replace two other windows in the near future. The process has been seamless, if rather long, but that was what was expected and precise information was provided about each stage and how long it would take. In the end the fitting was delayed by us due to other ongoing building activities. The work carried out has been quite excellent. The window fitting was not straight forward as this is a 110 year old house where no walls or floors are straight. They were professional, extremely tidy, unobtrusive, and did an exceptional job leaving beautiful looking windows with the surroundings finished to a very high standard. The SPS team made what could have been very disruptive week relatively seamless.

We are thrilled with our stunning new double-glazed sash windows in our downstairs bay and upstairs bedroom - expertly installed by the highly professional team at SPS Timber Windows. We can highly recommend their excellent service from the initial quote and surveying, through to the window manufacture and installation by their skilled and meticulous fitters Kal and Sonny. The project went like clockwork to schedule, the team were polite and considerate and their workmanship was excellent with great attention to detail. They take great pride in their work and our rooms were left in excellent condition. We wouldn't hesitate in using this company again to replace more of our period windows and doors.

Thanks to SPS for a first class job in renewing two sets of French doors, a new window and more particularly restoring a lovely 1920 stained glass window pane which had warped in the original frame. The company were a delight to work with and extra thanks to the lovely installation team who took a great deal of care to not only fit the new units but to clear up and restore the external and internal surrounds. Expensive, but as ever you get what you pay for.

We have just had all the windows at the front of our house replaced - two casement windows and one oriel. We are extremely happy with the windows and would recommend SPS without reservations. The fitters, Bryan and Sacha, were excellent and SPS were very good at keeping us updated with the whole process, from when we first contacted them in May 2022 until the windows were fitted in Feb 2023.

I’m very happy with my new windows. They look great and have helped reduce my heating bills and noise from outside. I started the process of replacing windows in 2020 and did this in three stages… finally completing them last week. Fitters were very tidy and friendly and communication from SPS has always been good. I also liked the idea of using Accoya wood as sustainable and very durable. The company was recommended to me by a friend and I’d recommend them too.

We have just had our windows replaced by SPS. This was a complicated job, involving large, curved glass windows and tricky access via a shared scaffold. We are delighted with the finished windows, which look lovely and are beautifully made from accoya. The SPS team have been professional, patient, courteous and conscientious at all times, and a pleasure to deal with. They clearly take pride in what they do. It was very expensive but, given the nature of the job, somewhat inevitable. I have no hesitation recommending SPS to others.

Fabulous accoya windows. Not cheap but will outlast me by a number of decades. Very clever way of incorporating the required trickle ventilation without a hideous trickle vent. Love them. Wish they were a bit cheaper and I'd get our bay windows done as well...But as others have stated, you get what you pay for....

We were so impressed with Simon and the team at SPS, and with the high quality of the double-glazed French door and window replacements they installed last year, that we called them back to replace the rest of the windows in the house. The remit was to recreate the same Victorian style as the originals, which they achieved down to the finest detail – including the shade and patina of inset coloured glass. The quality of workmanship was meticulous and finished to the highest standard, nothing was too much trouble and any problems that arose were resolved without fuss. We are delighted with the end result, which came in on schedule and on budget. The team was cheerful, tidy, and made huge efforts to minimise the disruption during the installation process. Not cheap, but certainly worth the expense. Highly recommend.

Final Phase now completed hence the time lag. SPS have done a brilliant job although by no means the cheapest but you get what you pay for. They open and close like the door of an expensive car. They are painted in the factory so once fitted they can be used instantly. For our bay window they installed a screen to prevent the dust going all over the room. All windows were removed from this Victorian house without damage to the plasterwork. This also applied to the front door which was very impressive. Once the screen was removed all wood dust etc is taken off site and the room is immediately ready to use. The best workmanship I have come across in many years. A great team effort. Many thanks

SPS were professional and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Simon made sure every detail was perfect. They replaced a bay and two other windows in my house built in 1875 where nothing was straight but they made the windows to fit perfectly and totally in keeping with the original Victorian style. While the Accoya wasn’t cheap (I did have a much higher quote from another company) it is worth every penny for the quality, durability and sustainability. They also installed new French doors into the garden which look fabulous. The installation team were polite, clean and tidy and did everything possible to minimise disruption throughout. They were recommended to me and I would certainly recommend them and will use them again when I get other windows replaced.

We are absolutely delighted with the work that Simon and his crew did in installing new windows throughout our house and also new patio doors. The Edwardian period features were closely replicated and the windows, installation and paintwork were of exceptionally quality. Considerable care was taken to minimise the spread of dust and disturbance to surrounding structures and to make good where necessary. The work was done as closely to schedule as the weather allowed and to cost. Simon and his crew were all pleasant and considerate - it was almost a shame to see them leave! The end result of their efforts has been to greatly improve the appearance and functionality of our house and also make it much warmer.

We had the original, single glazed sash windows replaced with the SPS Timber Windows A-rated double glazed windows with the modern in laid draught proofing system. The result, apart from the great look and feel, is noticeably warmer rooms and no condensation on the panes. Simon and his team replaced the frames as well as the windows, but the making good has been excellent and means a consistent design right through the house. The windows are not cheap, but worth if you have a traditional property where plastic would be an inferior option.

SPS was recommended by our neighbour, who had used them for their own windows and were very pleased. We are pleased we went with them as we live in a conservation area and they were able to match the intricate lead and even offer stained glass options, including roundels, which most companies could not. They were also reasonably priced given the quality (good u-value and materials). Simon was very knowledgeable and responsive about the products and different options. The lead time to manufacture ended up less than expected, which was great. It is important to specify width of architrave, lead, mouldings etc. as they can match them and they offer you the chance to check over those details before manufacture. The windows are warm, smooth and elegant. In summary, we also highly recommend them!

Really pleased with my beautiful new windows! Sonny and Kestas were super efficient and hard working, got them all in and finished within a week. They went above and beyond to get them just right and I even got help hanging my curtains back on. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
