Stag Heating

I would definitely recomend Rob of Stag heating. Rob fitted a new combi boiler and fitted all new pipes to the radiators under my floor boards. I can't overstate how much difference that it made. He put in extra pipes and rerouted them in such a way that the heating was 100% more efficient and more economical. He had to work in really bad conditions under the floor and never complained. The price was very good too.

I called Rob on Saturday afternoon and he came straight away. He mended the boiler when he had parts a couple of days after. He was absolutely brilliant. Perfection! Rob from Stag Heating skilfully installed the boiler and expansion vessel and in the process spotted a leaking pipe which he fixed straight away! Arrived when he said he would and charged a very fair price. Saved as a contact.

Fitted an outside tap and charged the going rate for the job that was comparable with other plumbers quotes. After the plumber Rob left we noted that the supply of water to the washing machine was reduced and called Rob who then came back and remedied the issue in minutes (a valve had partly closed which just needed re-opening). It is very rare to find a tradesman who always responds to texts and calls promptly. Too many ignore you and leave you in no-mans land in regards to the work you need doing. Anyway, we will be inviting Rob to quote on our servicing of our new combi boiler, and also our new gas fire when their first annual service is due in September this year. Thanks Rob. Well done for giving tradesmen a good name again..!!

Rob is an honest, decent, reliable tradesman (a rare find nowadays!) He responded promptly to my enquiry via this website, and made arrangements to attend at the end of the day, to assess the problem. As a woman, I often feel intimidated/belittled by tradesmen; this wasn't the case with Rob. I felt that I was treated with courtesy and respect. Rob sent an SMS text when he was on his way to my house, and I appreciated this (it can be irritating when you're sat waiting for someone to turn up, and have no idea whether or not they're running to time) From information and photos I sent Rob earlier that day, he had a rough idea of what needed doing, and was able to provide a reasonable price quote before he came. The issue wasn't quite as expected, but Rob persevered until our hot water/central heating system was functioning as it should. The overall price was a bit more than anticipated, simply because Rob needed to replace a part (again he was transparent about the cost)
