Great service
Had a light fitting in kids bedroom to replace as previous tenant had fitted a one time use fitting. Mick turned up in time and was professional throughout. The fitting proved more tricky than anticipated due to how the old light had been installed but a solution was found on the spot. Could not fault the service, professional job, very happy.
Excellent Job
We found Mick through trusted traders. He did an excellent job replacing some old light fittings with new down lighters and gave us some great advice on how to design the new lighting. While he was hear he also filled some plaster defects, which he didn’t have to do and didn’t charge extra for. He was a pleasure to have in our home and I will certainly use him for future work
Highly recommended electrician
Mike carried out a range of lighting works in our house, including first and second fixes, replacing existing lighting and updating switches. We found him very thorough in his approach, very knowledgeable, worked safely and advised accurately. He was always punctual and cleaned up after himself.
Super service and great redesign of existing ventilation system
Mick Stanner has looked after all our electrics for several years, both at home and our buy to lets. On this occasion, the extractor fan in a ten-year-old let property had failed in an en suite. Mick wasn’t happy just to replace the fan unit and instead redesigned the extraction with a larger and relocated fan unit in the attic. The tenant is very happy with the new arrangements as the original fan overran and kept them awake at night. All Mick’s work is completed to the highest standard and the costs of the job are discussed beforehand to explore the options. I have no hesitation in recommending Stanner Electrical for all your electrical needs.
Amazing work done for us
Mick Stanner reviewed our faulty lighting system in the kitchen and got it working, where 5 other electricians could not sort it out. Our kitchen lights work perfectly now. This includes the lights under the top cupboards He also installed out new TV and had to sort out my hearing aid pieces and we have had not problems since. He always clears up after his work and is so pleasant to work with. He is very thorough in all that he does. He is someone who we know we can rely on.
Efficient and Capable
Mick came around to install spot lights in our entry and landing. He did an expert job, especially working through some tricky access issues in the entry ceiling. He was responsive to calls, visited a few days later and slotted us into his busy diary recognising we had works underway. He also checked and asked me where I wanted the lights. He made minimal holes for the decorators to fill in and tidied up when complete. He also helped us out in a couple other areas without any fuss I’ll be using his services again and highly recommend him.
Excellent Service
This is the 3rd time we have used Mick in the last 6m, and have been impressed on each occasion with the quality of his work. Clearly a very experienced and knowlegeable electrician, who always takes the time to explain what the problem is, which to a layman such as myself is always appreciated. Highly recommended.

Reliable and friendly service
This is the second time we asked Mick to visit. The first time was to install six new ceiling lights, which he did quickly and professionally. This time we had a faulty power switch for our dishwasher. Mick quickly identified the issue and installed a replacement switch that has worked perfectly since. Mick is friendly, professional and clearly knows what he is doing. The invoices were very reasonable too.
Excellent electrician - Look no further!
I'm extremely relieved I found Stanners Electrical. The quote was given quickly and because I had a tight deadline as there were other works that needed doing by other tradesmen, Mick went out of his way to fit me in and work within my timeframe. The work was impeccable and the finish is great. Most importantly you can tell that Mick takes pride in his work and doing things well. I honestly cannot be more grateful. If you're looking for a reliable expert electrician, look no further.
Knowledgeable and efficient
I have used Mick of Stanners Electrical on four different occasions and have always been pleased with the quality of service I have received. The latest job was just the replacement of a kitchen lighting unit and installation of an outdoor pir security light but he has previously fitted an uprated consumer unit for us. I have always found Mick to be knowledgeable, reliable and efficient and a pleasure to deal with.
Rewiring work to whole house
My experience of using Stanners Electrical Limited was excellent. The work was carried out very quickly, every detail was attended to, and great advice given along the way. The house was left in a clean and tidy state and I felt the service provision definitely went the extra mile. Highly recommended.
Fast response, very pleased.
Mick came within 1 hour of our phone call. Just a small job replacing a faulty wall socket, job carried out straight away much to our pleasure and satistfaction. MIck was very friendly and effiecient. Would wholeheartedly recommend him.
Neat Professional Work
Mick installed recessed lighting in my kitchen and utility room and did a neat professional job, completely transforming the appearance of the rooms for the better. I completely agree with the other reviews and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Best Electrician in town
We used Mick of Stanners Electrical several years ago to rewire our house so it was a no-brainer to call him again to do some more work. I never bother looking around for an electrician because I know that I will get a competitive, price and a fantastic work done; He gets there on time, works extremely well, leaves the place spotless and goes out of his way to make sure his customer is left in a safe environment. I would definitely recommend Mick, if I could give 10 stars I would.
Excellent work
I was looking for an experienced electrician, so I looked at trusted trader and it came up with Mick of Stanners electrical. I have to say I'm so glad I chose Mick to do the work. He arrived when he said he would and gave me a very competitive quote to do a multiple of external jobs and internal jobs including replacing our fuse box. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and that's very important when finding someone to trust when doing electrical work. Everything was completed to a very high standard and I would definitely recommend Mick to anybody looking for a really great electrician. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Replaced all existing halogen downlighters with LEDs, new dimmers where appropriate, new RCD consumer board, and a number of other minor electrical works (that I had been meaning to get round to for ages - like most of us I imagine !). Mick was recommended by neighbours, and what an excellent recommendation it was. Can't fault him on literally any aspect of the work, or his professional approach, and was a thoroughly pleasant chap. I will definitely be using him for all future works. D
