The company itself was pretty reliable but, for various reasons, it took some months to actually set a date for the work mainly due to delays in turning around quotes and building regulations. Unfortunately, issues with the brickwork sub-contractors and wet and freezing weather also led to delays. However, the work was finally completed on time and to our complete satisfaction. Jon was very hands on and conscientious.
Highly recommended! Did a fantastic job and were so helpful, with excellent communication throughout. We’re delighted with the end result, and also how reliable they were, arriving punctually and working hard to get the job done. The quality of their work demonstrates their experience and expertise, plus they took the time to explain things and advise when needed, guiding us through decisions when we were out of our depth! The team were nice people to have around, friendly and cheerful and it felt like they really cared about our home, taking the trouble to achieve everything we hoped for.

The whole project came in on (amended) budget, where additional work was required or the scope changed these were fully discussed and an agreement made before continuing. The builders were courteous and friendly. All in all a good experience, I would certainly use Stone Cross Construction again.
