STUDIOGÖTZ is an RIBA Chartered architectural practice specialising in residential architecture, with a particular focus on refurbishments, extensions and the creative reworking of existing homes. We work closely with clients who value thoughtful design and enjoy being part of the creative process. Our approach combines careful listening with clear architectural thinking, allowing us to interpret briefs rather than simply follow them. By understanding not just what clients want, but why, we uncover opportunities that lead to more generous, light-filled and spatially engaging homes. Much of our work involves transforming existing buildings. We look for latent potential within a house — its structure, proportions, and relationship to light, garden and movement — and develop this through contemporary interventions that are both confident and sensitive to context. Section, orientation and material continuity play a central role in shaping our designs. Clients value our personal, collaborative service and our willingness to explain design decisions clearly throughout the process.
