My call was answered by Rachel's cheery voice, I explained and she said "Matthew will be with you in 15 minutes", and he was. After some discussion about the error codes on the boiler, Matthew quickly got to work and discovered that the printed circuit board had failed, and a new one would need to be ordered. He expained that the repair would be top of the list for Monday (dependant on sourcing a PCB) Shortly after 9 on Monday Rachel called to tell me that Matthew had located a PCB and was driving to collect it (as this would be the quickest), I was at a medical appointment, so they worked around me. I got back at noon, Matthew was waiting and swiftly got to work again and the boiler was fixed. Now this sounds like a normal story - boiler broke down, boiler was fixed. What I can't convey here is the thoughtfulness and kindness that Taskforce bring. I don't much care for the expression "going the extra mile", but they really do. Thank you Taskforce for giving us service we know we can trust."

They acted with such professionalism and kindness, identifying a complex problem quickly and returning promptly the next day to get the hot water running again. They kept me fully informed at all times even sending me photos and a video of the problem late that evening. I didn't know that service like this still existed. Would whole heartedly recommend!"
"We had a fault on our old combination boiler, which was about 13 years old and called Taskforce, if someone could have it looked at. Matthew called around after he was about to finish the job he was on. It did not take long to diagnose the fault, which was that a pump had caused the problem. Due to the age and expense, it was better in the long run to have a new replacement installed. The quote was sent to us the next day, and a date the following week. Toby the Engineer arrived promptly on the day and carried out the installation and commissioning of our new boiler. Taskforce had arranged the supply company HPS for the boiler and various other parts, including the flue be delivered before the Engineer on the day, which was a great help. Toby recovered the old boiler and flue, with no drama's and I was easily able to explain the slight change with the direction of the flue, in the instruction sheet issued to him. The quality of the installation and additional pipe work necessary to line up with the new boiler fittings was 1st class. The fitting of the flue and exit in the tile was straightforward, which did not require any replacement of a tile. The checks and commissioning were super smooth and ready to use at the end of the day. The debris, old boiler, and flue were neatly recovered, and he cleaned up after himself. Overall, we are extremely happy with the quality of the work completed and the previous advice from the backroom staff."

At the start of the week I phoned Rachel at Taskforce office to say that my lavatory had stopped working. She sent round one of their experts who recommended replacement of the 30 year old unit. Next day I was given the cost, agreed, and yesterday it was replaced: clean, efficient, no mess and all within a couple of hours. I cannot fault the superlative service.

Due to go away to a three day festival on Thursday. Came down to a wet kitchen floor Wednesday morning. Traced drip to pipe work under the under sink cupboard.. As I’d used Task force a few weeks previously for a tap problem they were my first port of call. Two hours later, plumber on my doorstep & fixed within an hour. Tip top service & weekend saved. Boiler problems building up for 6 months. Taskforce was able to identify the problems and discuss solutions. I opted for a replacement boiler. Options were identified, a preferred option was selected, quotation was clear, the time frame specified, and the installation was done thoroughly, competently and without any issues. Strongly recommended

We have an annual contract with Taskforce Maintenance to cover our central heating. Our boiler broke down and we phoned for assistance. As always, we received a cheerful and helpful response and an engineer came to the house on the same day. However, he was unable to fix the problem as many parts of the boiler had been damaged and spare parts were needed. However, arrangements were soon made for the parts to be obtained and the problem was fixed a few days later when these parts were available. The whole cost was covered by our annual contract, which is excellent value. The whole problem from our initial contact with Taskforce to completion of the repair was undertaken with speed, efficiency and professionalism. One very important point for us is that when there is a problem, contact with Taskforce by phone is immediate, very helpful and cheerful.

We have had a Taskforce boiler service plan at home for the last 16 years and for our rental property for the past 5 years. In that time we have found them to be extremely reliable, very responsive and personable. Whatever the issue with our heating system, they have been at the other end of the phone and then on site to sort the problem out with speed and efficiency. They also schedule in a yearly boiler service and if required provide a gas safety certificate as part of the package. Having our heating needs covered by a reliable company such as Taskforce provides peace of mind and is worth it's weight in gold, because invariably it is always the most inconvenient times that something goes wrong.

We have been using Taskforce for a number of years and have their maintenance plan - always remind us when boiler is due a service. We recently needed a new boiler at very short notice and their service was second to none - as always! It was done in less than two days. Staff in office polite and staff who come to house always polite, courteous and leave everything clean and tidy. Would highly recommend. You pay for what you get which is great service.

A friendly professional arrived on time to service our boiler. The task was carried out in a straight forward manner as agreed and for a fixed fee. In addition to that the plumber was really happy to help me work out my thermostat and gave me some good tips to manage heat consistency in the house. The admin team followed up and were also friendly. I plan to continue to use these services in the future. Having a trusted firm that is on hand, swift and professional is what any homeowner wants.

The work completed by Taskforce Maintenance was fast and efficient. The team in the office kept us up to date with our appointment and the worker that came out to look at out boiler and radiators was brilliant. Everything was completed quickly, he went above and beyond with some further requirements that weren't planned and then sent us a report on the work that was completed with some advice afterwards. Great company, will definitely use them again.

Excellent service, excellent communication and all with a friendly smile. We could not have asked for more. Even showed us his delightful Christmas advent calendar socks! Diagnosed fault with boiler pump, replaced the pump and returned the system to working order. It was most appreciated considering the cold temperatures. Thank you.

I had a flood in my cloakroom on a Saturday, I phoned Taskforce and they sent someone out straight away. He resolved the issue and advised he would bring the required part the following day. He came back the next day and the issue has been resolved ever since. I had to contact the trader again after a leak under my sink. The trader came and resolved the issue again quickly. I noticed another leak separate from this one after seeing a damp shelf. I called taskforce again who found the source of the leak, and have temporarily resolved the issue while they get the required parts to complete a fix. All the traders that come to carry out the work are extremely pleasant. Work was at a very reasonable cost, especially for weekend work.

Taskforce was hands down the best supplier we have worked with so far on our house refurb. We called on a Monday and they were able to send someone round by Wednesday. The gentleman was able to fix the problem with our radiators within the hour time slot allotted and was very pleasant, professional and friendly. Emergency callout for leaking boiler ona Saturday after 6pm. Lewis turned up within 45 minutes. As a part was needed he isolated the leak preventing more damage. The office gave me a price for the part and fitting, kept me informed of progress, came out as soon as the part was available. Couldn't have asked for a more transparent, efficient and friendly service. Thank you.

Having previously used TaskForce for several smaller plumbing jobs at our property, and nursing an increasingly unreliable 18 year old Domestic Gas Boiler, we recently accepted a realistic quote from them to replace with a new energy-saving Vaillant ecoTEC Plus Model. We couldn't be more pleased with the highly efficient manner in which our work was completed within the agreed timescale (single day) by Dylan, and the associated custom pipework (as well as the actual Boiler) is much superior to what was previously in place. True Craftsmanship. We would therefore have absolutely NO hesitation in recommending TaskForce's services around any domestic plumbing and heating requirements.

We called Taskforce to deal with a faulty shower. Their engineer spent a long time discovering exactly what the fault was, rather than going for the " you need a new..." approach. They went to the trouble of searching for a part that was generally unavailable, just in case, but managed to rectify the fault through their 'find the real problem' approach. Their charge was very reasonable particularly given the fact that they paid two visits when sourcing a part was tricky and they needed to be absolutely sure of the exact fit. Their engineer was obviously very experienced as well as polite, friendly and very clean and tidy in his work. Highly recommend them.
