"I first contacted Chris following a survey on the house I was buying highlighted some issues with the roof. His advice and recommendations were great, reassuring me after the surveyor made everything sound much worse than it was! Communication is always prompt and clear over email. The team who did the work were friendly and tidy, and they shared photos of all the work with me. It's great to find someone who turns up when they say they will, keeps you informed and isn't patronising to women who live alone!"

He was very quick to respond to questions and very clear about any extra costs. I would definitely have them back for any future work."

Chris is also very easy reach whenever I had queries. I would highly recommend them."

Confirm what they will actually handle versus what is excluded — the planning application, the building-control drawings, and whether they will administer the builder's contract on site — and get it, and a portfolio of similar projects, in writing.
