"Wow what absolute top service from the moment coming round and scoping the work up and talking through what was needed to be done to the moment work was completed, very professional, friendly and honest gave me a couple of options of upgrading our boiler system and was very honest, very clean throughout the job and this was a complicated job and not straight forward, even though faced with some challenges Steve remained positive and completed the job to a very high standard, very clean very professional and now my heating and water pressure is 100 times better than the old system we had"

Gas work is restricted by law to Gas Safe registered engineers. If they'll touch a boiler or any gas appliance, confirm they're currently on the register before you hire - it's free and takes a minute.

Smart checks

Before you hire a gas engineer

By law, anyone working on your gas appliances must be on the Gas Safe Register — ask to see their Gas Safe ID card and check the licence number at gassaferegister.co.uk before they start.
Never let an unregistered person touch your gas: unsafe gas work risks carbon monoxide poisoning, fire and explosion, and is a criminal offence.
For a boiler or appliance install, get the work and price in writing and keep the Gas Safe / Building Regulations certificate they are required to give you.
Confirm they cover your area and can actually come out in your timeframe before anything else.
Read recent reviews for reliability and turning up on time — not only the quality of the work.
