Highlights

"Tom has done several jobs for us know over the last few years and is always reliable and efficient. Very reasonably priced and knowledgeable, happy to offer advice when needed."

AnonymousCheckatrade5.0 rating

"We had Tom over several times now and to be honest we would not want to get anyone else. We would rather wait for him to be available than go with someone else. Totally reliable, most friendly person ever and obviously very profesional. Anything from lighting, running new electric cables to even fitting kitchen hobs and extraction fans, Tom will be able to do it."

AnonymousCheckatrade5.0 rating

"Great communication, very reliable & prompt. Upfront about cost & no hidden surprises. Was very mindful of what the best way to run a mains wire was to cause the least mess, wasn't happy unless I was happy & then got on with the job very efficiently. After the job was done, it was very hard to know he'd been as the area was left spotless & clean. Great guy, such a shame there aren't more like him ! Recommend 10/10."

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
