"We had a great experience with Toby with a few jobs in our house, the main one being assessing and repairing a fault in our kitchen spotlights. Whilst here he also fitted some new wall light fittings in our conservatory and replaced a broken pendant light fitting. Prior to the job, his communication was great, and when here he explained everything thoroughly. His rates are very reasonable and he’s very friendly and professional! Highly recommend for any electrical needs."

"I’m absolutely delighted with the work carried out by Toby from TS Electrics. He’s a 10/10 tradesman and guided us through the rewire process from start to finish and made the whole process feel like a breeze! He helped us determine where the best place was to put sockets and thought about so many things we hadn’t even considered. Communication is excellent and speedy and we were updated almost daily about the progress. Toby is a very good and fair tradesman and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone who needs any electric work done"

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
