Highlights

"Keith and his Team at Upvolt, Oxford, have been amazing from beginning to end. Having a sedum roof, we faced some challenges together as we designed a solar panel/battery project which would work for us. The team were patient and incredibly accommodating to our needs. Once the project was approved, the installation team worked like trojans to get the project completed. All the team were polite, respectful, tidy and very hard-working. I would highly recommend this Team to anyone considering installing Solar."

"Great communication from start to finish. Very pleased with the work done"

"Keith from SolarKW/UPVOLT Oxfordshire helpfully provided information to support our planning application. During installation his installers were very tidy, professional and a pleasure to deal with. The scaffolders who work with SolarKW were efficient and cooperative. The system was up and running immediately after installation with no issues. I have no hesitation in recommending SolarKW/UPVOLT for similar installations."

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
