Highlights

"From start to finish we were kept informed. Everyone was kind and courteous. The workmen were clean and tidy, clearing away all the debris and protecting our floors etc without having to be asked. Very pleased with the end result. All at a very fair price. We plan to use them again soon. I trust them."

"I am a long term customer of Z2 Engineering, they look after the heating/ boilers of my rental properties. Both Gas & electric. Mathew & his team are excellent, they replaced a broken boiler within 24 hours. The price was very competitive. Excellent service 10 out of Ten."

Z2 were eexcellent. They came when they said they would and were good value for money. The lads cleaned up as they went and removed all the rubbish. I am very happy with the quality of the work. It did take a few prompts to get the written quote but spart from that, I highly recommend.

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Confirm they cover your area and can actually come out in your timeframe before anything else.
Read recent reviews for reliability and turning up on time — not only the quality of the work.
