Baseline did a full renovation of my house, including a rear single storey extension. Calum and his team were fantastic throughout the project. Work was carried out to a high standard and everyone at Baseline clearly has pride in their work. Calum made sure we were kept informed at every stage, making suggestions to improve the project/save money and sent photos whenever we were unable to be there. Options were explained clearly and Calum listened to what we wanted and was able to make it happen. Baseline made the project as stress-free as possible and we would definitely use them again.

"Contacted Baseline in October 2025 arranged site visit, Callum identified crumbling wall as damp between kitchen /shower room. Also large crack which appeared in kitchen wall. Estimate received but in meantime noticed crack appearing between extension and main house Callum visited and we agreed on helix rods, filling in of surface cracks, a few new slates on roof, repaint of extension. Accepted both estimates work to commence in January. The 2 workers were courteous, friendly, hard workers who ensured our kitchen and bathroom floors were well protected . We chose Baseline Ltd to do our bathroom renovation because they offered the approach that we wanted. Calum managed the entire project for us but at the same time we were free to choose the equipment etc. that we wanted with his guidance. The estimate for the work was transparent. We did not need to pay for design as such but were offered plenty of helpful advice, good ideas and problem-solving as part of the standard service. We are very happy with the result, the quality of the work and also with the process. We would certainly use them again and highly recommend them.

Could not be more pleased with the professionalism of the team. Genti and Calum were always available for consultation & kept informed as the work proceeded. Despite encountering a few unexpected difficulties, and carrying out major structural works involving open plan kitchen diner and converting an old bathroom to a wetroom, their team remained focused and amiable. For us, most importantly the work has been completed on time and to the highest standard throughout.

I've used Baseline a few times and would recommend them. Callum and his team are great to work with. They listened to us and guided us throughout the building process. They had great ideas; suggested suppliers and encouraged collaboration. Communication and aftercare was good and since they operate mainly within the SE of London, they were often working nearby. I have learnt so much from working with Baseline and would definitely do so again.

Refurbishment of an en suite shower and toilet with complex external plumbing, together with internal decorating throughout to the upstairs floor. Work carried out to the agreed schedule and budget. Throughout the project, there was continuing communication and excellent up front advice to find a solution to existing plumbing problems.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the Baseline team for any project. They took us through our whole house renovation. The work included building another upper storey and loft conversion as well as roof, downstairs, electrics, heating and refurb on every floor. The guys were polite, clean and respectful of neighbors. Costings were clear and we received good communication. They stayed within budget and timelines whic was a big concern. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

Calum and his team did a fantastic job renovating our bedroom and bathroom to a very high standard. I particularly appreciated quick replies from Lauren in the office, Calum’s guidance to make sure the suite, radiators etc we picked were appropriate, and the care the team took of details. They also took brilliant care of our home, covering carpets thoroughly and trying really hard to minimise dust. Simply, Baseline were a joy to work with and when we need more work doing I won’t hesitate to call Calum. It’s great to know we now have a local builder we can trust.

We spoke to at least 10 builders in the SE8 area before choosing Baseline. Calum immediately impressed us on initial visit with his professionalism, ideas and knowledge. Even the quotes were by far the clearest and most thorough of the lot; it was obvious the team considered the project in detail from the start. It gave us a lot of confidence. The work itself was conducted quickly and neatly, dust was kept localised and they made it easy for us to continue to use the house at the end of each working day. Throughout the communication was clear, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We've asked Baseline for an estimate, someone turned up and then nothing. They have no availability, they can't do a quote, their staff is on long term sick...! Very strange, do they only have one person?

Having used Calum and his team before, I called them in after a water leak caused terrible damage in my study. As always, they came in, worked to time and budget and did an impeccable job. Team are courteous, efficient and hard working and clean up superbly at the end. Thoroughly recommend.

Baseline renovated, extended and reconfigured our 5 bedroom house to an exceptional standard. The extensive project took less than 6 months from beginning to end including plans, permission, landscaping of the front and rear, extension, loft conversion, changing the internal layout, moving the stairs, security system, new heating and refurbishment throughout. Calum and his team are professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They worked very efficiently throughout the obstacles of lockdowns and national shortages. The team have excellent attention to detail.
