Bear Plumbing, Heating and Technical

I've used Bear heating & plumbing for a number of jobs now. They are quick to respond and make appointments. Work done is to a good standard, lots of advice given and within quoted amounts. Very happy to use again.

We have used Bear Plumbing for both our underfloor heating repairs and most recently a new boiler installation. On all occasion they have been very thorough, professional and helpful. Liam, Rob and the whole team including Michelle who manages the offices and extremely helping and will go the extra mile to get the job done really well. With both our boiler inspection and installation Rob was also really diligent and took a lot of time to explain what needed to be done. We would say that projects are not necessarily the cheapest but quite frankly, you get what you pay for. Having spent thousands over the years for a monthly service contract with the UK’s most recognised British gas supplier and having nothing but fleeting visits and dire communication, using Bear Plumbing is still way, way cheaper. We have no hesitation in recommending their services.

Liam arrived early and worked very hard all day, barely taking a break for lunch. He was very conscious of my particular needs, I have mobility problems, and I am delighted with the quality and finish of his work. I was very impressed at the way he left the place spotless at the end of the day and will most certainly certainly recommend him!

Liam came to fit a new, larger radiator, and a hive system today. Liam was presentable, knowledgeable and gave us a walk through of what he was going to do and what he needed access to and when. Once Liam had completed the tasks he gave us a full handover of what we needed to do next and was so tidy you wouldn’t even know he had been. We will definitely be using Liam and his team in the future for all our plumbing needs.

Liam did an amazing job with my UFH and gave lots of advice on running it economically. Nothing too much trouble and explained what he was doing every step of the way. Fantastic job.

I can’t fault Liam or the Bear team. Customer service is 2nd to none and they are so reassuring. Staying until the jobs properly finished and never cutting corners. They arrived when expected, communicate clearly, and the pricing is fair and transparent. EVerything is explained upfront so there are no surprises. After moving house, I knew I'd be on a journey getting everything sorted and up and running, especially with an older property. What’s really reassuring is that I feel like they're on that journey with me! Never fazed by the unknown challenges that come up, they're honest about what needs doing now versus what can wait. Taking time to explain why work is needed and what's been done, they give clear justification for any spend, and talk through alternatives and ways I can save money. The level of advice & aftercare is superb. Liam and the team are great — always professional, reliable & easy to have around. I trust them completely and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

After being let down by other gas engineers, Garey came out to help us with issues we were having with our boiler. Garey was friendly, informative, and gave us plenty of advice. Highly recommend Bear Plumbing, Heating and technical.

Robert completed the work for us and was very friendly, knowledgeable and effective. He completed the work in the timeframe that was agreed as well as the cost that was quoted to us during the initial consultation. Would definitely hire again and recommend to a friend.

Robert was polite, timely, and professional. He kept me informed of the work he was doing and was 100% transparent, showing boiler parts replaced and explaining work carried out and the resoning why. An affable person who is easy to have in your home, someone that I felt totally at ease leaving to it. I will be using Bear Plumbing moving forward for servicing and works, should they be needed in future.

We have used Bear Heating and Plumbing twice now and have been very happy with the completed work and service we have received. Both Liam and Robert communicated clearly about the work and costs involved. They were friendly, punctual and very tidy - we will definitely use them again and will recommend them to others.

Rob's work was excellent from the beginning. I have a Thermal Store for my hot water which is not very common and not many plumbers know how to work with it, most just seem to make it up as they go! But Rob knew what he was doing and was able to discuss the problems with me and what he would be doing. He did a thorough job and would highly recommend him.
