Kevin and Dave did a great job, from start to finish and we can’t recommend them enough. They are highly experienced, skilled, and take great pride in their work. They have good network of supporting trades such as a plaster and gas fitter. Communication was cheerful and excellent throughout, the price was as quoted, and our new kitchen looks great.

Blue Ribbon Decorators have just completed an internal redecoration for us. They provided an excellent service, and our kitchen and main living area now look like new. They were punctual and reliable, meticulous in ensuring that furniture was protected against paint and in cleaning up afterwards. Definitely recommended.

The work involved careful repairs and finishing to a damaged wall and electrics in the kitchen. Kevin was always able to come up with really good and practical solutions to issues when they arose, and also went the extra mile to source replacement tiles that we could not find. His work (and advice!) were of a high standard, and he was highly professional, as well as having a very good sense of humour!

Once again Kevin and Dave from Blue Ribbon have done a fantastic job. We first used them early this year to totally redo our bathroom and knock 2 small bedroom into one. They did a fantastic job. Jobs included electrics, plumbing, new floors, tiling and decorating. All done in a professional manner. So good that we’ve just had them back to re-decorate throughout and to knock down another wall. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. Would highly recommend Blue Ribbon. Great work and good guys.

Kevin carried out a range of work, including cleaning and repointing a stone patio, over a two week period. I was very impressed by the care taken to ensure the work was of high quality and also by the friendly and helpful manner. I have no hesitation in recommending Blue Ribbon Construction and intend to employ them again next year.

Amazing builder. Prompt in responding, excellent value, calm, skilled and professional. Converted attic space into a home office and was brilliant. Super clean and considerate of minimising any damage when carrying materials and cleaned up at the end of each day. Workmanship to a very high standard. A perfectionist builder! What more could you ask for???

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Blue Ribbon Construction. I first contacted Blue Ribbon construction via email on 19/05/21 in regards to a quote for a bathroom renovation project. I received no reply so I called Kevin on 22/05/21 to arrange for an appointment for a quote in 3 weeks’ time as he reported he was fully booked till then. He said he couldn’t commence work until September, which I said I’m happy to wait. We agreed for him to arrive at 10am on a Saturday. I received no email or text or call to confirm the appointment. On the Monday of the week he was supposed to come, I called and he confirmed the appointment was still going ahead. On the day at 10am he did not come. So my partner called him at 11am, he said he was running late but will be there in 1 hour. By 1pm, we still did not hear from him. I called again at 1:30pm but it was switched to voicemail. I left a message to ask if he was still coming or should we arrange for another time, I have heard nothing since. Based on my experience I would not recommend Blue Ribbon Construction as I felt this behaviour is both unprofessional and rude.

Kevin and Dave of Blue Ribbon Construction did a great job refurbishing my kitchen, utility room and downstairs toilet. Their work was of a high standard and I’m very pleased with the finished result. Communication was good from the outset and I was provided with an accurate quote and the work was completed within the estimated timescale. Kevin always responded quickly to any queries and offered helpful advice throughout the project. He and Dave were punctual, polite and very reliable. I highly recommend them.

Kevin and Dave have just completed our new fitted kitchen and we are delighted with the end result. They had to get back to basics in our old kitchen -renewing plumbing, electrics and plastering before fitting the kitchen. They completed the job with as little fuss as possible dealing with issues as they arose and ensuring everything was done to the highest standard. Based on their expertise they offered ideas and pragmatic solutions as problems came to light, particularly as there appear to be no straight walls in our kitchen! They worked hard and completed the job within the budget and time agreed. They were always friendly and responsive to our ideas and requests, going above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the end result. We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a new kitchen fitted.

Just had a new kitchen installed by Kevin and Dave and am very happy with the result. I had used Blue Ribbon twice previously so they were my first choice to fit my kitchen. Kevin helped me with getting the kitchen designed, liaising with the designer and the kitchen company after I’d had an initially frustrating experience with another company. Once the work started it progressed in the efficient way I had come to expect from Blue Ribbon. Communication was great and it was easy to make suggestions. Kevin and Dave are friendly and polite and work meticulously. Will definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

We had our letting flat renovated ten years ago and were very pleased with the work Kevin and his team did then so I was delighted to find he was still around and available to do the same when updating was required again. Once again he turned up when he said he would, did an an excellent job - everything from refitting the kitchen, replastering where required , redecorating, plumbing and electrical work, and remaking the outside step and tiling - all in the time scale and price agreed and with helpful alternative suggestions when needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blue Ribbon Construction for any building project being considered. I hope he is still around in the next ten years - but then I don't think I shall be!!

We are very pleased with the decorating work that Blue Ribbon carried out for us. Dave and Kevin were a pleasure to have working in the house and they did a most professional job. We found them very flexible and accommodating - they even tolerated my special paint requests, though they probably thought they were quirky!

Kevin and his team did a great job - not only painting and decorating but managed to highlight several areas in need of attention and attend to them swiftly and skilfully. Moreover, as well as being highly skilled and experienced, Kevin and his fellows are very friendly and courteous. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Kevin undertook a package of renovating/ fixing work for us including repositioning and replacing all kitchen electrical sockets, new overhead kitchen lights, new external sockets, new security light, retiling the kitchen, plumbing works etc. Excellent work, friendly, and we were very pleased with the outcome! Highly recommended.

Kevin clarifies the tasks so you both know and are happy with what he's going to do; he arrives on time, does what he says he'll do and carries out work to a high standard. He and Helen are also very pleasant people to deal with so the whole experience is good, without any of the worry or concern you get with many builders.

I have used Blue Ribbon Construction several times for both large and small jobs. Most recent work includes refurbishment of my bathroom (new bath, taps, shower screen and radiator). Keven is a genuine and reliable builder who is happy to advise and help you through the process. I have always been very pleased with the work he has undertaken. A really nice guy and I would happily recommend him.

Kevin was professional, very competent, reliable, honest, straightforward, arrived on time. He sorted out and solved the problems which arose because of certain materials not supplied or supplied wrongly. He was cheerful and friendly, told us what he was doing and discussed as he went along. We are very happy with our new kitchen.

Kevin and Dave fitted a new bathroom where a bodged job by previous owner made it a nightmare, and also painted a difficult loft room, making good where necessary. Kevin responded swiftly to our enquiry, came to quote when he said he would, and kept us informed when an earlier job meant he had to nudge our start date by 5 days. He is an old school builder who knows exactly how things should be done and refuses to cut corners, saying doing things properly from the start saves time in the long run. Unfailingly helpful, always courteous and friendly, they left the house clean and tidy every night and showed us where we could save money. Blue Ribbon would be my go-to builders for any further work in the future despite having used other Trusted Traders in the past - you could say we saved the best till last.

Kevin has carried out work for me on a number of occasions since I first used his services. He on this occasion sarried out the following :- Put up new fence Repointed garden wall Redecorated the bathroom and kitchen. The work was carried out when I was away from home and I left Kevin free access to my house. the work was completed ahead of schedule and to his usual good standard and to budget. Kevin and I discussed the work to be carried out and on my return it was complete. Kevin as ever did his usual belt and braces job. I would recommend Kevin to any body He is good value for money.

Kevin renovated and decorated our bathroom. (He had also helped us in August by replacing our faulty shower when we just starting to plan the renovation). His work is excellent, he had some great ideas to make the bathroom work better. He is very pleasant, punctual, efficient and helpful. Kevin was also very accommodating in negotiating the intricacies of our residents parking scheme. We are very happy with the finished bathroom.
